Ok, this is a good deal with over 500 oz or 35 lbs of peanut oil however it is a little hard to pour in beginning (in the fullest stage). Also, be careful not to overfill your deep fryer, which I did and then had to waste it. Unless you are someone that empties and cleans out the fryer more often than I do. I had to waste a lot of oil because in Florida in can't sit for very long unless filtering or at least refrigerating. So this is heavy but a great deal and gets me through the holidays and then some. Look for your minimum fill line if using a deep fryer so you don't overfill and possibly waste oil.

The cost per ounce is definitely not correct....it states $0.07 per ounce....at the cost advertised it's $0.098 per ounce

We fried 3 turkeys on different days in the same oil and it tasted just as good the last time as the first!

Peanut oil is the best for frying those holiday turkeys. Do not go for the less expensive canola or vegetable oils.

We bought this to fry our turkey for Thanksgiving. Bought a rather large turkey so we have enough oil left over for Christmas. Excellent price too!
