Customer reviews for Kolcraft Cloud Umbrella Stroller, Black forZippy, easy to use, compact, love it
I can't believe how inexpensive AND awesome this stroller is. It was super easy to put together (5 minutes) and the wheels do NOT get stuck. I have seen friends use the cheaper super-basic umbrellas and have trouble with the wheels not turning and getting stuck. Not so with this stroller. It folds up easily and in the classic umbrella-stroller style. The reason I say this is because there are no pictures online of the stroller folded, and I had read on another website in a "question and answer" that the stroller folds "top-to-bottom" which was confusing and led me to believe it might fold up quite large - not true. Love the large, removeable canopy and that there is a cup holder too. Only thing that bugged me a little is the "storage" basket underneath. I read other reviewers say it is small and I thought, well it's a small stroller, so what? Well, it's just very very close to the underneath of the stroller so unless you are placing a magazine under there, you will not be able to get anything in there. But that's ok! I'm thinking our little to-go changing pad clutch could work there in a pinch. Overall, great quality, great value, and I think it's super cute. Very pleased!!

Good, For the Price
This stroller is a step up from the flimsy, cheap-o u,nrella strollers, but is just okay. The handles are too short - I'm only 5'7", and my back hurts after pushing this stroller because I have to hunch over a little bit. Plus, the short handles means I walk closer to the stroller, and have to take care not to kick the back wheels with each step. The baby for whom I bought this is 9 months old, weighs 22 pounds, and he fits perfectly in the seat (though his feet dangle, because his little legs aren't long enough to rest on the rubber strap yet - not a problem at all). I love the shade, or hood, or whatever it's called - it clicks down in three stages, allowing for minimum or maximum coverage from the sun. The basket underneath the seat is VERY shallow - like, I worried my iPhone would bounce out of it as we walked. I suppose it would accommodate a diaper and a travel wipe container. After the too-short handles, the thing I most dislike about this stroller is that the seat is fixed - it doesn't recline at all. I knew that before purchasing, but couldn't find another affordable umbrella stroller that DID offer an adjustable seat. It does have a solid ride, the navy color is nice, and assembly was a cinch.
Thank you for taking the time to review our Kolcraft Cloud Umbrella Stroller. We are glad you like large extended canopy. We will forward your other feedback to our development team.
Nice for the price
I bought this stroller for my three year old when we walk 9 city blocks to school. She loves it. It's narrower than I expected but she's not squished or anything. The compartment at the bottom is tiny but I can squeeze a blanket and umbrella under there. She's 36" tall and 32 pounds and fits just fine. I love that it doesn't flip backwards when she gets out and my extremely heavy purse is on the handles. My one complaint is when I walk my feet hit the back wheels. I think its because this stroller/wheel base is narrow that my feet don't go between the wheels, if that makes sense. It may also be because (and this may explain why it doesn't tip) the handles/stroller is more upright then average, and so you're closer to it when pushing as opposed to if the handles projected out more, you would have more walking space, if that makes sense. For the age of my child (who'll soon be out of strollers) and the price ($24 when I bought it) I would recommend. If she were younger and I needed it longer I would get something a tad wider because of the walking issue.

Nice stroller but
This stroller is nice but the wheels are way too close together. I step on the wheels when I push this and it gets uncomfortable trying to avoid stepping on them. This stroller should also have straps across the chest. My 15 month old son leans forward and tries to grab the wheels when we are walking which is very dangerous. I would not recommend this stroller for those reasons.

Survived 7 day cruise with no problems
My wife and i purchased this stroller as we needed something smaller than our normal one for out upcoming cruise. It was a Caribbean cruise and we were looking to minimize our footprint in the stateroom and while moving around the ship and shores. This one caught our attention as it was very lightweight and also folded easily. A big bonus was the small storage under the seat which nothing in this category seems to have and we utilized all the time during the trip. The size of this especially came in handy on the cramped hallways and elevators of the ship and navigating between chairs in the dining areas. My only two issues i have with those are minor and would not detract from me buying this again if i needed to. First, i am tall and the handles dont extend so i was hunched over more than normal pushing this, so keep that in mind if your over 6 feet. Not deal breaking but something to consider. Second, while the storage underneath the seat is super helpful i feel like it could be slightly bigger, looking more closely at it i can see where they could make it a bit deeper. Overall i would highly recommend this for folks looking for an easy to fold, lightweight stroller that actually has a fair size storage area and canopy all for under 40 dollars.
Very easy to assemble; just be patient! This stroller is everything I was looking for! It’s lightweight and folds up very small for storage. I absolutely love the bright green color. It also has a zip-on/off seat back to heat or cool your child! I would recommend this product.
Great for the price!
This is a good little stroller when you need something compact. For the price of this stroller it's great... we bought in a time crunch when we needed an umbrella stroller while traveling and it's perfect for just that. It is not as nice as our full-size stroller, but look people... IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE. It's a very basic umbrella stroller and it does it's job just fine. My only complaint is that I do wish the handles were an inch or two taller, they aren't uncomfortable or anything... it's just a personal preference. I have pushed around the cheapest umbrella stoller available before and this is 100x more comfortable than that.
LOVED the canopy!
It's a little tight for a 25lb baby and the canopy it's a little weird but I loved it because covers almost the whole stroller!!! the picture doesn't make justice! The canopy covers more than you see in the picture the show, perfect for annoying sunsets! My son loves it too!

Nice but.....
I recently purchased this stroller a week ago. I am disappointed because I thought the seat would be taller to suit growing toddlers. I have a one year old that is the height of a two year old. His feet already touches near the wheels, so I anticipate not to have this stroller for a long time. The handles are great and the wheels are smooth. But, I am disappointed in the length of the stroller. I wish that I could get my money back. I have already threw the box and receipt away.....
Thank you for your purchase and we apologize for your experience. This stroller receives very positive reviews. We welcome you to contact our customerservice@kolcraft.com team if you have any additional insight or questions. Also, we researched and according to Walmart.com "Generally, merchandise purchased in store or on Walmart.com can be returned or exchanged within ninety (90) days of purchase with or without a receipt." We do appreciate your review and share all feedback with our development team.
Disappointed
Don’t waste your money, the storage space underneath is right under the seat so you can’t fit anything and the canopy is not only confusing to attach but is poorly made. It was bent out of shape after closing the stroller up and using one time. Get the Walmart brand umbrella stroller for $26
