This rice cooks really well, its shorter and a little fatter than long grain. It doesn't get mushy, at least not for me, but I've been cooking rice for a long time. IMO it's the best for Puerto Rican, Dominican, and Mexican rice recipes. Medium grain rice is hard to find so please keep it in stock Walmart!

I love medium grain rice, but the inflation is going through the roof. I started buying Rico Medium Grain Rice in 2022 and it was $10.88 for 20 lbs. The next year it shot up to $12.98. The next year it shot up to $18.12. That's 66.54% inflation in less than 3 years. I can't afford to buy this rice anymore.

My mother-in-law bought me this rice because it was the only thing she could find when all this corona virus pandemic began. I had eaten it a long time ago in Miami, but never cooked with it. I really love it. I will continue to buy this type of rice.

Bought this rice because this was the only brand in the aisle. Looks weird and some grains are metallic looking. After cooking it, it just felt and tasted like plastic or wax. I just decided to throw the rest of the bag. Something is not right about this rice.

This rice is the best! I usually buy Goya medium grain and this rice is just as good if not better! Im a boriqua and cook rice every or every other day and this is some tasty rice... it comes out nice and loose. Works great for making arroz con guandules too!
