The pergola is very nice for the money. You literally could not buy the materials for the cost of this pergola. The build took longer than 5 hours for just me and my husband. It would have gone much faster with 2 ladders and 2 power drills/screw drivers. The final step (per the instructions) was to install the post plates to secure to your concrete slab base. This needs 4 people since fully built is over 400 lbs. We had help and each person moved a post, however it was hard on the structure to keep it square and not crack or flex the pergola too much. Overall it turned out well. I'm giving 5 stars because of the price to lumbar costs AND because everything was received and in good condition minus a few warped pieces, which are normal. I would buy again.

We we going to have one custom built which cost 5 times as much. This pergola is worth every penny and looks great! We are just getting started designing our patio look for the spring/summer.

We are very happy with the Pergola, when opening boxes, it is beautiful looking wood, it is stained, but not sealed, so that took a couple of days to do. Other than that build was easier than I expected. You will need 3 people to do. Once completed it came out beautiful. Now time to have some backyard fun.

Love this Pergola! Shipping was fast and it was easy to put together. Two of us did it in about 6 hours, not rushing. I like that the price was set and I didn't have to worry about the cost of lumber going up every day. It looks great and the instructions were easy to follow.

Great quality and great price! Only down fault was when putting it together some of the parts where mislabeled so we went of the measurements instead, that’s why it got the 4 starts. It took us a while to put it together. Btw you will need two people to make the process easier.

The Pergola looks great on our newly built patio deck. The only issue we had was some of the boards were a little warped. We did have to ratchet strap a board or two to keep the spacing correct when installing the final top slat boards. It wasn't much of an inconvenience but this is the reason for not giving 5 stars. We couldn't be happier. It's exactly what we wanted. The overall installation was easy and only took 2 people 4-6 hours. The predrilled holes were definitely a bonus when installing

I have a few issues with this pergola but considering the price I can live with them. Hardware was not the best, bent and not cleaned very well. Also a lot of the boards were warped and nicked.

The unit is installed barely a year, powdery streaks (not sure mildew) all over surface & in wood eyes. Surface also chipping & cracking in the post. Filed claim to the company, their customer service said we need to apply water sealant every year. We did pay for installation and additional $ for sealant & concrete mount initially. In our case, It’s merely a year, the wood simply would hold up. The fact that we’re in a very dry & sunny region, moisture certainly is not the cause or issue here. Without offering further inspection, they simply provided a scripted answer & excuse. There is no disclosure of product maintenance requirement prior to purchase or warranty disclaimer. They said they’ll be willing to replace parts, but we have to pay for shipping… not to mention the labor to dismantle & rebuild which will end up more than buying a new one. Their products are made in an offshore country where wood quality are inferior. Had we known where it was produced, would not have bought at all. In their disclaimer, they said wood cracking, warping, peeling and cosmetic appearance are excluded. We’re surprised Sam’s Club would sell their product when this supplier does not have a fair reputable warranty policy in place. Don’t buy from this brand/company.
