We have bought these a few times and the past few times they have had a strange taste. They almost taste rancid. They also smell and they shouldn't. I would not buy. Get a different brand!

This is the second time I've had to request my money back! Each time the shrimp was not cleaned enough and I had to throw away the tail end of each shrimp!

Look at the ingredients: "Shrimp, Water, Salt, Sodium TriPolyphosphate (to retain moisture)" I understand that this is common in the seafood industry, but that doesn't mean we have to settle for it or accept it. STP is used in seafood like shrimp and scallops to boost the weight by making the product swell with water. High quality seafood doesn't come packaged with STP and the brining is minimal. I don't know what your water company charges you, but I'm pretty sure it's a lot less than $6/lb. C'mon, Sams, you can do better.

I have bought this shrimp many times, and I didn't mind a few freezer burnt spots. Recently though half the bag is freezer burnt. The tail ends are not deveined so I have to cut those off. The last bag I bought has neon pink flecks of what may be plastic throughout the shrimp. Very disappointed.

This product is extremely misleading. I purchased this bag because it states the item is cleaned, deveined and tail off. These shrimps were NOT deveined and had pieces of the shell inside of the bag. I thankfully was able to receive a refund because had I known this label was misleading I would have purchased another item.

Took a chance on buying these since they were frozen. We prefer fresh shrimp. I have to say I tried a new 15 minute method to thaw these in ice water then blotted them dry very well and they work GREAT in recipes. Made a spice blend and coated them in that and cooked in the air fryer as well. Very tasty and not tough at all.
