I would have given it no star at all if I were allowed. As shown in the attached pictures, the lid of the dutch oven leaves a gap when it sits on the actual oven. I'm not sure if this is a defect that happen to appear only on the dutch oven I bought, but what I do know is this gap made more than 2 Qt of water evaporate within 30 minutes on medium high heat and burnt a soup that took me almost 2 hours to prepare. Horrible experience with this purchase did not end there. Since then, I emailed the company regarding this incident, and it's been 10 days now I didn't even get an auto reply. I then called the customer service number. My call went straight into voice mail. Still hoping they would have the decency of doing what they say, I left my phone number. It's been more than 24 hours by now, nobody called me. Based on my more than disappointing experience, I would NOT recommend any one to buy anything from this company. Once they get your money, you are on your own.

I wished for this fir Christmas and got the double set with the 7 qt and 4 qt. I didn’t need those sizes so I returned them and got this 6 quart one in Purple. It is beautiful. I read all of the instructions and seasoned the exposed cast iron areas. The pot that I got has two handles which already makes it superior to my original non-enameled Dutch oven. Cooked chicken and dumplings just the other day and they were terrific. This Dutch oven will be a staple in my kitchen and a beautiful pan to take soups and stews to church pot lucks. I highly recommend this pan despite the bad reviews. Most of the bad reviews are from several years ago so I believe they must’ve fixed some of those problems.

I recieved this beautiful pot today, great size, large enough for a family of 6+, quality is outstanding, and the price is unbeatable! Don't hesitate to make this purchase, we'll packaged and arrived in perfect shape! Dutch oven is very heavy because it is cast iron under the enamel coat, all-around happy with this purchase!

I have had this dutch oven for a few years. It's my absolute favorite piece of cookware. I use it for everything. I bake bread in it. I make jelly in it and of course soups, stews and braises. I have bought one for my mother,sister and both daughters. They love it too. Now empty nested I would love for Sam's to offer a 4 quart version.

I purchased this upon recommendation from a friend who loved hers. I have already used it to make some soups and the size is perfect to cook for our family of 5. I purchased the light blue because my first choice (golden-yellow) was out of stock, but the blue is very pretty and bright. I was, however, disappointed to find that the cover was slightly chipped at the edge exposing grey underneath. For the price its good just sad about the chip.

I ordered this pot because I was in need of a great Dutch oven pot. I've never had one before. When I came across these pots I loved that there were plenty of colors to chose from. I ordered the yellow pot and received it two days later. I loved the color, and the weight. I already cooked in it and I LOVE IT. I want a few more sizes in this pot and every color. It cooks really good ..food doesn't stick. IM IN LOVE WITH IT

I have been looking for a nice dutch oven for awhile but did not want to spend alot of money, I saw this at Sams and was floored by the price. I bought the teal one and have been so happy, it cooks like a dream and is so easy to clean. I looked online and could not believe the deal I got. A wonderful purchase, and beautiful addition to my kitchen.

I’ve had my Dutch oven for a year now, have the smaller of the set to my mom, and we both LOVE this thing. I have used it for everything and am about to purchase two sets for my daughter in law and niece. And they are very nice to look a as well. Highly recommend. The only possible downside is they are a little heavy but that’s probably what makes them so good.

I recently added the 7 Qt Cast Iron Dutch Oven in matte sand to my kitchen, and it’s already proving to be a valuable tool. The color is absolutely stunning—matte sand is a perfect neutral that leans towards warm tones, making it a versatile addition to any kitchen décor. Functionality-wise, this Dutch oven has impressed me from the start. I used it to bake sourdough and make a hearty soup, and it performed beautifully in both cases. The heat distribution is excellent, and it handles long cooking times like a champ. However, it's worth noting that this is a heavy piece of cookware. While the weight gives it a solid, substantial feel—ideal for heat retention and even cooking—it can be a bit challenging to move around, especially when it’s full. I've only used it once so far, so I'm curious to see how it holds up over time. I have a 5.5 Qt Enameled Cast Iron Round Dutch Oven in white that unfortunately chipped, but this 7 Qt version is supposed to be more durable. The manufacturer highlights a different finishing process with three layers of porcelain-enamel exterior coating, designed to be chip-resistant and prevent rust. I’m hopeful that this new coating will live up to its promises and outlast the 5.5 quart. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase, but the true test will be in its long-term durability.

Love this dutch oven. It does not weigh nearly as much as the more expensive types, but it still is cast iron with a porcelain coating. In my opinion that's a win-win all the way around. With the LeCreuset dutch oven I can barely lift it to clean it, even when it's empty - this one is so much easier to handle, and for a fraction of the price!
