I bought this a year ago and I am still loving it! It's a great staple in the kitchen and it is still in great shape. I have used it on the stovetop for soups and stews as well in the oven for braising meats and other dishes. I might buy one this year for my daughter.

I purchased the 6.5 QT dutch oven in blue color for my wife as a Christmas present less than a year ago. This product cooks well but the finish is streaked and mottled after less than one year. It has been handled carefully and always hand washed. I am disappointed!

I bought this 2 weeks ago and as instructed first washed it by hand with a light detergent and completely dried it then I put a light amount of cooking oil on the exposed cast iron on lid and pot and baked it as instructed. A small amount of oil ran onto the enamel part of pot and lid and baked on. It took over an hour of scrubbing to remove the baked in oil. I have yet to use this pot for cooking but am concerned about how it with hold up based on my experiences so far. Because of this I can not recommend at this time.
