I fought myself buying this because I couldn’t figure out how I’d use it. Silly me! I have used this many times in just theee weeks. I use it on the glass cooktop, in the oven and even used it to hold a centerpiece! It is well made and cooks evenly. Remember to use a hot mitt to remove the lid as the metal knob does get hot.

I bought 2 Dutch Ovens thru Sam's, 1 is for a college graduate and another one will be a gift. I had my old PURPLE one still in use & works perfectly every time. Dutch oven cooking saves me a lot of time by not worrying about water-dried-out issue. It also takes me only 45 minutes medium heat cooking for my favorite meat dish instead of old 2 hrs+ using other type of cookware. Love it !!!

I purchased 2 of these Dutch ovens for Christmas gifts. After seeing how excited my daughter-in-law was about hers, I decided to purchase one for myself. We own a motor home, travel frequently, and I like to use my induction cooktop while traveling. The fact I could use this pot at home and on the road was an added plus. Beautiful visually and performs wonderfully. The only con is,that when it is full of food it is heavy for me (65 yrs old) to handle on my own. Otherwise, I highly recommend this item.

It distributes the heat evenly during cooking process, so the food cooks evenly. The cast iron heats quickly, then cools quickly, and the enamel finish makes it so easy to clean. It is a very useful item for the kitchen, and looks good sitting on the shelf. I recommend it to anyone who cooks for a big family or who cooks big batches for freezing.

I would love to say I use this all the time but I had to give it to my daughter; I'm a senior citizen and it was too heavy to lift up and down. Being that you had to be careful how you stored it, I didn't have any place where it couldn't be stacked with other pans. Would have loved it when I was younger.

I bought this as a gift for my sister. I purchased one two years ago for our mother and ever since she has coveted it. Mama uses it all the time and loves the heavy duty pot that can go from stovetop to oven seamlessly. It is a great addition to any cook's arsenal.

This is the largest Dutch oven I own. It cooks everything evenly. It is large enough for an 8 lb roast plus vegetables with space left over. The quality is excellent. The only drawback is the weight. It is just a tad heavy so you’ll need some muscles to move it around especially when full. I would definitely recommend this.

I love, love this dutch oven. I have purchased multiple times, one as a wedding present, a red one and gave it to my son because he wanted it, purchased a green one and gave it to my daughter, Mines is larger and prettier and I am not giving it away.

Always wanted a large soup kettle, finally made the splurge. The dark Navy color with gold knob is just stunning. I have been cooking up soups every week and it is easy in this large pot with plenty of room and non stick. Cooks evenly too. Heavy when washing, but not an issue as the pot is great quality cast iron. Love it!

We have bought 7 of these Tramontina Enamaled Cast Iron 6.5 At. Covered Round Dutch Ovens. Five are for gifts. I use one in the house for soups and stews. The best use I have found is that it is just the right size for making jams, jellies and brine for pickles. The temperature is very easy to maintain while cooking. No hot spots. Easy clean up. The other one we use outside to deep fry our catfish. I would recommend this to all.
