nice fabric, but too small

I normally buy XL in thongs. 5’7” 148 lbs. But all the reviews, except one, said they run large, so i got the size Large instead of XL. Well guess what? They were too snug. Going to order a package in XL next, and hopefully they fit, because they appear to be a comfortable material and pretty colors
