Good chair for the price

Only a minor complaint with this chair, it feels like it leans forward just a bit. Bought it for my son's room (age 12) to use with his computer desk. He loves it and says it's very comfortable. He uses it with the Mainstays Student Desk and it fits perfectly. Easy to assemble.

office desk chair

I purchased this item and was very impressed when it came and I put it together. After less than a two weeks the backing material tore loose and I had to reglue it. Then after 5 weeks the entire hydrolic part of the chair quit working. The price was excellent and if the chair did not fall apart it would be a wonderful unit for the price. But I'll look elsewhere in the future.

Not Nice

After reading the reviews on this chair I rushed out and bought it, I don't care for it at all.. its great for the person that sits and uses the computer once in a while or an hour or so per day but I work from home and I am in it 7 hours a day.. the no tilt really does a number on your back, yesterday after work I could hardly stand.. I don't recommend this to anyone that will be sitting for hours on end.

Good value but fixed sitting.

I'm 6' and 'big boned' at 230lbs, so if i'm like you, here's what I think of this chair, which I've had for 2 days now: I'm satisfied with it as a solution, but I don't think it would be my first choice at the store and if I had more money to spend on it. I will replace in a year or so. I think it's a great choice for a thinner person who doesn't mind sitting in a mostly fixed position. Pros: 1) Easy & fast to assemble. If you find it leaning forward, you mounted the base to the seat wrong..look for big word "FRONT>" lol 2) This is a pro to me now, but a con later, it doesn't lean back, so it forces me to sit at a 90 degree proper posture, which I need to do as I have a (hopefully temporary) back problem. 3) The mesh back support is comfortable and allows your natural curve to take place without feeling pressure on your back. When I do start to get uncomfortable, I can readjust and find a good spot quickly. 4) It has a nice appearance. 5) The wheels/height adjuster all work fine. Cons: 1) The seat is padded well enough, comfortable, but I am starting to feel the very bottom in just 2 days. Hope it doesn't flatten more over time and get uncomfortable. 2) I'm about 36" waist and I fit in it fine, but I'm probably the max size to fit into it with some slight wiggle room. Bigger peeps will likely feel confined in it. I also feel a bit confined in it myself sometimes as my leg configurations are limited by the arm rests. 3) Again, no recline. I find it to be extremely fixed position sitting. 3) Its noisy. And most chairs are but it bothers me because every piece is fixed..makes me wonder how long the lifespan of this chair is going to be before something breaks. In closing, for $60 and fast shipping (I live in a metro area and don't drive), I'm happy with it FOR NOW. Also, just wanted to mention, if you work or spend a lot of time at a computer, I'm having back problems because I was stubborn and spent a year using a straight wooden dining room chair not realizing it was wreaking havoc on my back until i jumped up with a spasm and ended up in the hospital for 2 days with a herniated disk. It's true what they say...do yourself a favor and get a proper chair!

Looks good, performs bad

I ordered my chair via Walmart website, received it in less time than that I was promised (plus), the chair looks good but tends to have many problems, 1- the chair does not sit up right but rather tilted to the left which make it very uncomfortable, 2- the chair seat is very poor quality in term of cushioning, in less than two minutes of sitting on it the cushion is almost plain flat and loses its function and becomes hard surface, 3- the hydraulic raising and lowering cylinder tends to loose its user's set level and continues to go down by itself.

Not a Comfortable Office Chair

This chair is small and lacks features. For example, it does not have adjustable arms or a tilt feature. I am 5'2" and it seemed little even to me. The fabric on the seat is really uncomfortable and scratchy. It doesn't seem like it should cost $60. To it's credit it does roll smoothly and seems relatively sturdy despite how small it is. For us, it was not a good fit and we are returning it.

I Like This Chair

I got this chair after I decided to go back to college. I spend a lot of time studying and sitting by the desk. My husband has a similar one, much more expensive though, so I am very happy about the quality and price of this chair. It is very comfortable and it has good back support. It doesn't really tilt back. I like the see-through back, because it looks very modern. The only thing is, that it

Comfort and quality

I have had this chair for over a month and still can't believe I made such a great purchase without trying it out first. I have a bad back that once bothered me after sitting a few minutes in my old chair. Now I don't just check my emails and leave; I spend time playing games and chatting with friends. I can forget about my back for a while. It's wonderful. The back of the chair has great support, and the height can be adjusted quickly. Obviously, I am delighted with this purchase.

First Time Customer Is Very Pleased.

I will be ordering two more chairs. I have one problem. The backs are too far forward and not very comfortable. You feel like you are being pushed out of the chair. Other than that I am very pleased and want to thank you. I will also order 4 chairs for my brother. He thought the chairs were sturdy and well put together. Thank you B.J. Marek

A Couple Small Downfalls

The chair works great. It was a good price for what we got. My only downfall is that the back of the chair does not go far back. It feels like it is pushing you off the chair and that you are constantly sitting on the edge of the seat. But that is not something that makes me want to buy a new chair. I have only had it for about a month, and I feel that the mesh backing might become soft. It was very tight when we bought it, but it just seems to be giving way already.
