I received this for free to test in exchange for an honest review. I'm really happy I got to try this out! I love gardening and just hanging outside on my porch, but we have such bad mosquitos that it's really hard to enjoy the outdoors. Day or night, I get eaten alive. After a full charge, I set this Thermacell repeller out on my porch. I was able to spend several hours doing what I love without seeing a single mosquito in sight and without a single bite! I'm surprised it worked so well. My porch is also really big, so I can definitely confirm the range is very reasonable. Plus, there was no odor nor noise. Just a sleek little decoration that kept me bug-free! I also really enjoy the portability of the repeller. I can take it with me as I move about the yard to other areas and it keeps me safe from the little nasties that want to eat me. And the charge lasts quite a while too! Over 6 hours of use and it still had plenty of charge left. It's nice to be able to just charge and go. Very convenient! And no mess, too. My only concern is that I keep chickens in my backyard, so I don't want to take this within range of them for fear of it having adverse affects on them. But this is no fault of the product, of course. Just something I would be looking for in a product like this since I do spend a lot of time with my chickens, too. All in all, I really enjoyed this repeller. It seems good quality, so I expect it to last a lot of usage.

I would typically avoid going to my backyard because the mosquitoes are so plentiful. My poor babies would be bitten up in no time by those mosquitoes that were as big as a bird, lol. We've used the Thermacell a couple times now & can actually enjoy our backyard in the evening. I'm not saying that there are no mosquitoes, but a drastic reduction. I'll definitely get a couple more.

I just received this just in time for my camping trip and it was done very well in keeping mosquitos and horse flies away from our camp site, which says a lot when camping in the everglades. I really loved the included refill because it kept us bite free for almost the entire duration. It has a lower battery life than i expected but it wasnt too big of an issue. Absolutely would buy again

Works well for the most part, perfect weather works very well with no problems, weather seems to affect the effectiveness of it, but that might be expected. Battery seems to last as long as I've needed it to.Refill doesn't seem to last as long as it claims unless you use it 12hr straight? Seems to take longer to recharge it.Overall it keeps the bugs away, no smell or spays

I was skeptical, but my backyard swarms with Mosquitos and this keeps them away and not a single bite. As soon as we turned it off, they were back and we were fighting them off by hand. I'm a believer and don't sit outside without it. Thermacell gave us our deck and yard back.

Received this product for free if I have my honest opinion. Now I haven't gotten a full opportunity to use it outside. I used inside my house because we were having bug problems on top of some mosquitoes getting inside. And it worked wonderful I would even forget that it was on and we would leave it on through the night. I'm in need of a refill from using just inside the house but there was a MAJOR DIFFERENCE of the amount of bugs I was battling with in my house. But will definitely putting that to the test this weekend as we are going to be outdoors a lot. I cannot wait to see what it can do outside.

Bought this 2 weeks ago and have been pleased so far. Seems to work well. My one complaint is that the supposed 12-hour cartridge didn't seem to last nearly that long (maybe 6 hours of use?). Bought a second unit with a 12-hour cartridge and noted the cartridge was only about 1/2 full of liquid. Marked the level before using and after one hour the level had dropped substantially. Looks to be about 5 hours worth of repellant. Not sure if the cartridge I got just wasn't filled properly - I will keep track of how long it lasts. I'm also putting the cap back on between uses. Got a 40-hour refill so will keep track of that as well. As I said, the unit seems to work but the refills will get expensive if they only last have the time indicated.

I received this item for free from Thermacell in exchange for my honest review. I received this product and put it to work at my backyard barbecue for my neighbors. This product kept the mosquitoes at bay and everyone was very impressed. I think I inspired everyone to get one for themselves.

I got and have been using the Mosquito Repeller for a little over 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it. It’s so nice to sit outside, during the day or evening and not be slathered in mosquito repellent or taking chances without and getting eaten alive. During the warmer seasons in the South, without some sort of bug spray on, I would have no less than 20 mosquito bites on my arms, legs and even my face and forehead. While using the Thermacell Rechargeable Mosquito Repeller over the last 2 weeks, I haven’t been bitten by any mosquitoes. I even plan to pack it when we go camping next month. This product/device needs to definitely be used by anyone living in the South where mosquitoes are horrendous as the weather starts to get warmer. This is a must-have for any household.

We have not been able to use this at all since we purchased it. We have charged it, reset it, put in new cartridge and nothing. The lights come on and circle for about 2 minutes and then go completely out. When we try to turn on, a red light comes on and then goes off. I was thinking about purchasing another one, but don’t want to waste any more money.
