Assumed I was purchasing the newer LE3, but not a problem since I was satisfied with the original LE2's, which gave 52K miles of quiet, even wear. If I hadn't replaced a little early, I probably could have gotten 60K miles. Just double check when purchasing to receive the improved 70K mile LE3.

The OEM tires (Firestone LE2) on my Ridgeline were at just below 4/32" and we were taking a 1,000 mile trip; I always change tires when the tread depth hits that measurement, so I stopped in at the Firestone company store in Dover Delaware. I am very particular about who mounts and balances tires on my vehicle, having seen the effects of improper tools and techniques. I was greeted by TJ who quickly and professionally put together a quote. I scheduled an appointment for three days from then and left. On the way back from Philly the day of the appointment there was a serious accident and a 45 minute delay. I called TJ to say I would not be able to make the appointment time and to reschedule; he asked me when I would be there and then said "we will get the tires installed,see you then!" Sure enough, I got there, dropped the truck off, went and had lunch, and then came back earlier than the 1 1/2 hours I assumed it would take--there was my truck with 4 new tires! We were able to get on our way in time! The LE3 tires are quieter than the LE2 tires they replaced, handle great in the dry and wet, and are quiet. My OEM tires on my Honda CR-V Hybrid needed replacement at 25k, and I researched all the tires that were recommended for my vehicle. The Destination LE3 and the "M" tires were rated virtually the same, but the LE3's were $300 less. Plus I had the Destination LE2 on my Nissan Rogue, and a friend had them on his Mazda CX7. The LE2's were fantastic, great wear, great performance, and very smooth. I felt the LE3 would be the same, if not improved. So far, I'm right.

Garbage tires Destanation bad. Had a Blowout on the Expressway! Almost had a very bad outcome , it was out of control ended in the grass. The last two I bought didn't last. I was Leary of getting more. NEVER AGAIN! I'm not at all comfortable with Firestone anymore!

Have had Firestone tires in most of my trucks. Do field service so on the road a lot in the NY NJ area. Roads are hard on everything. These tires run quiet, great traction in all weather, and are just about worn out with 65,000 miles on them. Like them so much, put a set on my wife's Honda CRV. She loves them due to the tires being so quiet and smooth.

Sounds better, rides better so far. Old tires had somewhere between 60,000 and 91,289 miles on them, were quite noisy, rode rough and were down to the wear bars. These new LE3's are quite an improvement. I guess time and miles put on will tell the real story.

I have driven the 8 hour trip from Ohio to South Carolina countless times and these tires are quite and smooth. I have had excellent control at high speeds through deep puddles (they aren't prone to hydroplaning), I have driven on muddy gravel hunting roads in the mountains of North Carolina and never had traction issues, I have gotten through up to a foot of snow with no issues, and never gotten stuck as long as I have had them. Overall I think they are a great tire if you want to have street tires that can get you through some occasional off road use. The only reason I rate the traction with four stars is because they aren't an all terrain tire and occasionally they slip on wet pavement in you try to accelerate quickly from a stop.

On my 3rd set now. Car came w/this tire. Made the mistake of purchasing another name brand as my third set. Three replaced before halfway through warranty. Also too much vibration & road noise. Haven't been on the freeway yet but I anticipate quiet for a change. Never had any problem in the worst winter weather with these on my car. My niece purchased same for her suv when I recommended them. Was on my 2nd set then. Great tire.

These tires are great! They provide a comfortable ride and grip the road well in wet weather. I suspect they will do well on snow and ice. We shall see. Tires for this vehicle are never cheap and these are a worthy investment. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and I highly recommend them.

These tires comes with 70,000 mile limited warranty and an upgrade to what I had before, was 10,000 miles more. I love the warranty reduced price and this was definitely a plus for me in purchasing these new tires. Joe, the rep that took care of all my tire needs was really accommodating and very professional. Truly appreciated. The price of these tires are really awesome too, can't beat these price anywhere else here. I highly recommend these tires for the price, the warranty and dependability for any weather conditions!
