Looks good but very weak tires

These tires came on my new Tacoma. I had 3 flats in the first 27000 miles then replaced them. Two were rock 'breaks' or punctures that occurred while driving normally on gravel roads. The third happened after hitting something that took out a chunk the size of a quarter in the middle of the tread. Two of the flats could not be repaired. I haved owned Tacomas for 20 years and these were the first flats ive ever experienced. They waeemed fine on the highway but the Tacoma is an off road vehicle and these tires are not up to that task

Awesome crew

Super happy with this set of tires. I tow a 12k 5th wheel and its amazing what a difference it is over my factory tires. Very stable, and sure footed in wet and dry roads. haven't had it in the snow yet. Without the 5th wheel I was really taken by the grip on wet roads in turns and in stopping. we plan a cross country trip soon and I now feel very confident if I have any issues, it won't be tires! Thank you Steve and crew!

Did Not Last!

Did Not Last! I got 47,000 miles out of them. I had 59K one the original tires that came on the Truck which were Wranglers, they have changed something. I'm needing to get knew ones and last time I did not shop prices on other tires just who had the best price on Wranglers. I am shopping now on other brands.

The last time I will buy these tires

This is the second time I've had these tires on my truck, and I wont be buying them again. The traction and tire noise are adequate, but the tire wear has been terrible on my truck. Both times that I have had them, I have only been able to barely put 25,000-30,000 miles on them. Also as they wear and when you rotate them, you start to feel more and more vibration. If you're a heavy duty truck person who likes to tow, I wouldn't recommend these tires.

Good choice for highway and off road use

Purchased these tires to replace a very noisy and poor performing set of tires on a Ford Ranger (V6) Sport 4WD). I wanted tires for a mixture of small town country roads (pot marked and uneven surface), gravel roads, and occasional off road dirt and meadow grass (pasture) driving. Tires are quiet and handle very well, especially when hauling heavy loads in a trailer on winding county roads. I have only had them for less than three months but am very impressed. I will provide an updated review later after I take some long highway trips and experience winter road conditions.

I would not recommend these tires. All terrain with Kevlar

The tire is rated for 60,000 miles. The tires came with my new Tundra at 21 miles. The tires had to be replaced at 41,500 miles. Why? All the tires were wearing on the outside section of the tire. So in the middle the tread was still decent but the outside edge of the tires were almost bald or no tread visible. It was a new truck and when the tires were replaced the wheel alignment was out slightly on front right tire.

They don't last the warranty

They lasted 30k (at 29,934) with being rotated every 5k religiously. I drive like a grandma. These tires weren't stressed at all. They are just starting to hit the wear bars. They came on my truck when I bought it new. I'm not freaking out, I just will not be buying these for replacements.

My Tire Review

Have had goodyear tires before and never have been disappointed. These new Wrangler with Kevlar are simply amazing. Goodyear tires have always been good but these are the best. Great traction, great steering, along with a super smooth ride says it all. I would recommend these tires to anyone looking for a good set of tires.

Smooth sailing.

I can't comment on the long term wear of the tires, but I will say that there is more noise than I expected and the rolling resistance is higher than my factory tires were. They do have a more aggressive tread than my original truck tires, but they ride nice and smooth. I have not had the tires long enough to see if the highway mpg is affected by the somewhat aggressive tread design.

great except gas mileage took a hit. worth it though.

second set of these on the f150. got these because it's two wheel drive and need a good tire to make up at least some of the difference for winter driving (snow, ice...) It's heavier and more aggressive tread than the Michelins it came with so the mpg went down a slightly but a much better snow tire. Got 60,000 miles and there was plenty of tread left.
