Couldn't be happier

This is my second set of these tires on my F150. I need a tire that delivers good traction on wet highways in Florida and off road in the mountains of North Carolina. These tires deliver every time. The tread design is less radical than many other 4x4 tires resulting in better ride quality, At the same time I feel the off road traction will match up well against just about any other brand and with the Kevlar these tires are super strong.

Overall Great Tires!!

So far, so good after about 2000 miles. The ride is slightly bumpier over rough surfaces than what I'm accustomed to due to the 10-ply construction and greater required air pressure but it's not at all unbearable. Overall the tires look great and perform great on any surface wet or dry. I don't live in a cold weather environment so I only see snow/ice once or twice a year if that. I'm anxious to see how they perform in winter conditions when given the opportunity. Very happy with the tires up to this point

Good all around tires

This tire was exactly what I was looking for on my 4Runner. I wanted an aggressive looking tire that could handle light terrain, snow, rain, and daily highway and city driving; in essence something that's good at everything. I've been very impressed so far! The tires look great and have handled everything I've thrown at it. I wouldn't choose these if you're looking for a serious AT tires for hard off-roading but they are fantastic if that's not your thing.

Disappointed

These tires have terrible snow and wet traction, dry traction is just normal, nothing special. They are very loud but have a decent ride. Would have been just as well off buying low end Good Years instead of the high end AT Adventures. Very disappointed that these tires replaces the Silent Armour, the Assurance are no where as good.

Excellent, but a bit noisy.

These are an excellent tire, traction is superb! We just had a snow and ice storm, with about 8 inches of snow. These tires were never searching for traction. I did some mild offroading in the snow with them, tires clean out well when spun, found grip on wet rock, did not build up snow in the tread much, and had good lateral grip when off camber on trails. I would say that the only issue we have with them is they transmit a decent bit of road noise when taken over a bridge or other non perfectly smooth road. Rain grooves in the road do this as well. This is a minor annoyance, and is not overly intrusive in our Jeep. It does not seem to transmit through the phone when using bluetooth, so not terrible. I went up a size on both height and width so as to protect the rims from being damaged by curbs, and I can say that the sidewalls are quite tough. My wife has "curbed" it many times since we put these on, and there is no damage at all...they simply climb over the curb.

Poor choice in many ways

4th tire selection on this Tahoe and this one was the worst. More road noise than a mud terrain, drop in fuel mileage, increased stopping distance, and very poor traction in wet weather. Does ok, but not great for an all terrain at the ranch with a mix of slick rock and mud. I expected more out of this version of the Wrangler tire with the added Kevlar compared to the previous ones that came on the vehicle. Instead they were of a lesser product with a higher price. Also tread life is not 60,000 miles like claimed, try more like 35,000 to 40,000.

Great 65,000 mile tire, until its worn out at 20,000.

I have these tire on my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Crew cab 4x4. The tires ride smooth and have great traction in most conditions. The tire are supposed to last around 65,000 mile. I have had mine for maybe 2 years and have 20,000 miles on them. the tread is 4/32 on the front left, 5/32 on the front right and 7/32 on the rear tires. I have rotated them and had a front end alignment done within the first month of having them but they just don't last like they are supposed to. For the price you are better of getting the Wrangler HP stock factory tire.

Restored handling for 2010 Silverado

Installed on 2010 Silverado work truck. INITIAL impressions are very good. Had to replace a set of Michelins because one had a sidewall blowout! The Michelins gave great ride and fuel mileage but are inadequate for anything but hiway driving. These Goodyears track and respond better and are better in very deep snow and average in mud. If I get 60k or more miles out of them, I'll buy again. The sidewall on these is definitely thicker and stiffer than the Michelins so I expect better off road/dirt and gravel road durability. Despite the stiffness, there is no appreciable loss in ride comfort compared to the soft Michelins. Another thing that I disliked about the Michelins is that although they are the same tire size and rating as the OEM tires, you cannot air them up to the same pressure (35 psi, as specified on the door sill placard) because they wear as though they are significantly overinflated--the mid tread siping was gone at my first 8,000 mile rotation and the front tires tread wore similarly. I had to air down to 33 up front and 31 on the rear tires to keep a flat 'footprint' across the width of the tire. I suspect this is because the Michelins are so soft for minimal rolling resistance but really? The OEM tires rode fine and lasted 70k where both the front and rear were maintained at the specified pressure and they wore perfectly evenly. I suspect these beefier Goodyears will also wear better than the air-downed Michelins. Bye bye Michelin, hello Goodyear! I ordered these from Walmart.com and received email notification on delivery. My local Cody, WY store installed these same day in an hour and even stowed my spare that I had left in the bed of the truck after the night time blowout. My only criticism is that all four tires were over inflated to different pressures. After I aired them all down to 35 psi, I realized how smooth-riding and sure-footed these made my Silverado once again.

Well Worth A Little Extra

We have 25,000 miles on a set of four mounted on 2011 Jeep Liberty with true 4 wheel drive. The traction on wet and dry pavement is excellent. Traction in snow and slush is very good. They are the quietest tires we have had on the highway in years. Occasional off-road in slick mud is very good in 4-wheel drive.

you Can't go Wrong

I've had these tires for a little over a year and have put a little over 20,000 miles on them now. They are wearing very well and traction is great. Most of my driving is stop and go, with a mix of highway. I've towed a little bit, as well as a little mud and off-road (fields at the father-in-law's farm) with no problems. I've also driven in snow and ice with great traction in both (driving sensibly).
