These are perfect for snacking especially on the go because they are small, self contained and do not need refrigeration. They are so convenient because they fit perfectly into purses, lunch boxes and backpacks for a quick bite of protein, 4g a stick, while being low in calories, only 35 a stick. These definitely taste different than the beef ones. The savory herbs is a nice flavoring but really strong. My family liked them much more than I did and I'll repurchase on occasion to rotate into their school/work snacks. They reminded me of pate taste-wise. As a camper/backpacker I'm always trying to think of ways to make packing and cooking easier. I think you could use these to cook with while camping so you would not need refrigeration or ice. These could be added to a variety of things like mac n’ cheese, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes or bean soups.

Good consistency, like that they’re turkey - just a bit too much herb flavor for my liking. Convenient snack for on the go if you like a snack stick with A LOT of flavor. Jack Links has some great meat snacks, this just isn’t my favorite of the bunch

These Turkey Jack Links mini sticks taste very good. The flavor is not overpowering like some other brands that I have tried. Also, these do not seem to have a strong aftertaste that lasts which is good. They do not feel greasy while eating them either. They are a great snack for people on the go.

We really liked Jack Links Mini Sticks. The flavor is good (think herb-y) and the turkey option makes us feel like we’re eating a little better. My son likes to grab them for a quick snack on our way out the door for baseball. The mini sticks are ‘beefier’ than others brands in length and width.

OK for my thoughts on the turkey stick. The pros are that it’s small convenient portable shelf stable and give you a little hit of protein and salt. The cons are the taste and the texture. Not to say that some wouldn’t like it, it’s just I think that the spices that are traditionally used on turkey and in those sticks are a little overdone. If they had given me a spicy variety that may have counteracted some of the perfume of the seasoning used. It was just a little overwhelming. I’ve been making an effort to wrap my brain around the concept that palatability is not the only desirable quality and food, so the pros definitely have some weight. Would I eat this in an end of world scenario? Definitely. Would it be the first snack I chose off of my counter for a hike? Probably not. More likely to grab some traditional jerky or a handful of nuts. Its strictly a taste thing for me, which can absolutely be subjective. However, it will not be on my shopping list going forward.

Jack Link’s Turkey mini stick is a little dry for me, at first bite I felt is was ok but as I was finishing it, I felt it dryer and dryer, the flavor is decent. You have to really like the Turkey flavor if you want to eat this, I would buy some to snack on but I would make sure I had something to drink with it.

The mini sticks are a great grab and go snack. They are individually wrapped which makes packing them in lunches or grabbing before activities very easy. The savory herb flavor is very strong which wasn't my favorite but if you like herb seasonings then you will like these. The turkey jerky consistency was just like beef jerky.
