We just built two Backyard Discovery structures and we absolutely love them! The instructions were very clear for both, especially the emphasis on critical steps that would terribly difficult later on if missed. Some of the online reviewers, who praised your products and were quite detailed, recommended treating all of the pieces before assembly. We did so. Yes, it added some time to the project. But we want this to last for a very long time and consider that extra investment of our time to be worth it. I am not sure if you want to mention such an undertaking or not. Perhaps if you had been doing some studies and could offer some insight? In the meantime, we'll have to see how well Olympic Transparent Waterguard works over the years.

I bought this several months ago and assembling it a little at a time. The roof panels are going to be a challenge without at least three people. The instructions are very good--No problems with assembly. We put a couple coats of sealer on to further protect the wood.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our Backyard Discovery Gazebo in June of 2023. So far it has been a great entertaining area for both friends and family! I think Backyard Discovery gazebos would make a fun addition to anybodies backyard. As someone who has bought one and have enjoyed it very much, I would suggest having a slab poured and plan out exactly where you may want to add a future dedicated electrical outlets or even possibly running water. We learned the hard way….lol I also suggest putting a nice good quality sealant on it soon after it’s built as well as think about adding gutters to it. I bought this last fall and I had the company install it. Which I’m glad I did. They were very efficient in getting the gazebo put up in a few hours. It would have taken me a couple days I’m sure. The gazebo is a perfect fit on my patio and it’s a solid piece. My back yard is hammered with wind and it has stood up to the test. As I got it in the end of summer early fall it did great with blocking the sun. I can’t wait to get back outside and just relax under it hen the weather breaks. I definitely recommend this gazebo.

We bought this a little over a month ago and couldn't be happier. Everything about this gazebo is above and beyond expectations. To begin with it is absolutely beautiful and looks amazing in our space. The quality is outstanding, It is made solid cedar and the craftsmanship is excellent. we had it installed on a16x18 slab with the angled roof it fits nicely under the soffits of the house. We also feel that this was a excellent value. This will add beauty to our backyard for many years to come
