Michelin CrossClimate2 Tire Review After more than a month and approximately 1000 miles of driving, I’m sharing my experience with the Michelin CrossClimate2 tires. ADVANTAGES: - Versatile Performance: The Michelin CrossClimate tires have exceptional traction, especially in wet weather and heavy water on the road, it is crucial for those of us living in Florida - Long Tread Life: Michelin claims a long tread life for these tires - 60K Miles Warranty: While I hope I won’t need it, having a 60,000-mile warranty provides peace of mind - Quiet Operation: Contrary to some reviews, I found these tires to be quiet during my drives. - Distinctive Design: The unique design sets them apart from many other tires. DISADVANTAGES: - Increased Fuel Consumption: Immediately after installation, I noticed a substantial increase in gas consumption—up to 20% compared to my previous OEM tires. After approximately 1000 miles, this improved to 10-15%. However, it’s still a significant impact! Given the already high cost of these tires, it’s important to take into account the additional expense resulting from increased fuel consumption. SUMMARY: The performance of the Michelin CrossClimate tires is very good, prioritizing safety and hopefully longevity, as claimed by Michelin. However, for my next tire purchase, I’ll be seeking similar performance without the negative impact on gas consumption.

Sadly, this Cross Climat 2 tire recommended for Honda Accord is a downgrade from the OEM tire and recommendation as this only has a "B" traction rating, but the OEM tire was rated "A". OEM tire is Michelin Primacy MXM4. I don't appreciate having a recommendation that lowers my car's safety rating in not allowing my car to top as fast or hold the road as well as expected when purchased. Did not purchase recommended tire for reason that I care for my family's safety.

Purchased the CrossClimate2 tires for my 2020 Subaru Ascent four months ago. A big improvement over the tires that came with the car. They are less noisy and handle better. I haven’t driven them on snow or ice, but I expect that they will perform well in those conditions.

I've had these tires on my 2011 Honda Pilot for the last 3 winters, these tires are exceptional in everyway. I'm 55 and have driven over 1.5 million kilometers so far. I live in Ontario and have family in New Brunswick, we drive to NB a minimum of 3 times a year. Christmas, March Break and summer. We have experienced every weather condition imaginable on these journeys. The Michelin Cross climate 2's handle anything that it has thrown at it. They have exceptional traction in all weather conditions. I have put approximately 70,000 Km on them and they handle just as incredibly as the first day they were put on the vehicle. The wear is even and consistent on all 4 corners of the Honda. I recommend these tires to anyone I meet. There is also the added bonus of never having to change or store winter tires again. These are the best tires I have ever driven on, I always feel safe and confident when travelling anywhere with these on my vehicle.

I bought these in September 2023 and was so excited to get them....heck even michelin makes them out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread but there's no mention of rolling resistance and rightfully so. Dropped my MPG so much that I had to return them and just to think this is the second generation with an improvement in rolling resistance I sure would hate to know what the previous generation was like. Michelin perhaps on the 3rd generation you can greatly lower the rolling resistance and than claim them to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I am disabled and have a wheelchair accessible vehicle. I bought a set of the CrossClimate 2 tires because of the reviews of their winter performance and to eliminate the need for seasonal tire changes. I read about the decreased gas mileage but that didn't seem unreasonable given the tire formulation has to be able to adapt to temperatures year round. The decreased gas mileage was much more extreme than I thought it would be. At this point, I wish I would have bought the Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail, which was my other option.

It took 1000 for these tires to wear in but now they are awesome, much better than the Michelin Defenders they replaced. These give a comfortable ride and extreme performance on wet roads. I can't wait until I get to drive on snow this winter. I highly recommend these tires.

i had the premier a/s on my 06’ accord for 5 1/2 years, i had negative feedback from people saying that the tire is noisy but they are wrong.after a week on these tires i can say that they are quiet and just as good as the premier. i would recomend this tire 100% of the time

I put these on a Subaru Forester in anticipation of winter snows and mountain driving. Replaced Vrdestein that had excellent traction but poor tread life. Compare to those, the Crossclimates roll smoother, are far quieter, and if it matters, are better looking. They handle road bumps well and felt very stable in heavy rain. No snow yet so I can't say if they live up to their reputation for great snow traction.

I recently purchased four Cross Climate 2 tires and they have exceeded every expectation. From steering on tight turns to stopping distance they are superior to any tires I’ve owned. I have AKWAYS purchased Michelin tires but these are a cut above the rest
