The best tire ever! Quiet, comfortable and displaces water extremely well. Seems to shorten stopping distance too. Whatever the difference in price is between what you are looking at and these Michelins, get these as there is no equal at any price or brand. These unidirectional tires are certified as snow tires as well yet they are quieter than any tire I have ever experienced. I am converting all my vehicles to Michelin Cross Climate II.

These tires are our first replacement tires since purchasing our car. We have a Subaru and it is all wheel drive. We selected the Cross climate because it is supposed to be great in all weather conditions. So far, we have noticed how much nicer the car handles. It brakes better. Even the wet tread pattern it leaves on the driveway is nicer.

No road noise—handled puddling rain very well

I've seen and heard a lot of comments about these tires being noisy. I've had a set on my 2013 Dodge Journey SXT (front wheel drive) for 4 years. They were fine at first, no noticeable noise. When I went for my first rotation, the service writer asked how I liked them. I said they were fine and he mentioned that some folks complain of the noise. (side story-they stripped my wheel locks with their impact wrench. Had to go to Dodge dealer, who ended up having to blast them off with a jackhammer!) After all that and the rotation...dang! Noisy!!! Had I not noticed until the guy mentioned it??? I wasn't sure. After a few months of noise, it occurred to me that the ordeal with the wheel locks may have blown my alignment. So I had one done, and like magic, the noise was gone. I've driven out the rest of the tread miles on that set, smooth and quiet. I'm about to go get a new set next weekend. Oh and by the way, they're very impressive in heavy rain. Living in the south, never had a chance to try them on snow. To all the naysayers, I say "make sure your alignment is good before posting negative reviews!"

I just put on my second set of Cross Climate2's on my 2016 Outback. Besides the fact the Outback is just the best car for the mountains and snow, adding the Cross Climate's just adds that extra layer of reliability and safety. Traction is amazing in sow and rain! I would recommend these tires to anyone looking for a great all season tire!

After nearly a year of use, I've started to notice that this tire is getting quite loud. In fact, I can feel the vibrations when I'm driving at speeds of 40-90 km/h. On a more positive note, the tire performed exceptionally well during its first winter. The traction was excellent on both snowy and icy roads. I'm curious to see how it will perform in its second winter.

tires are great just don't get them installed at Walmart. They told my 21-year-old daughter that the lug nuts are swelling and cracked after they installed the tires and then told her she's going to need lug nuts and broke her tmps sensors but installed 2 new ones just to have one fail 6 day later so now she has to take it back to fix. bSo tires are great installation sucked

Tires are great when they are new, now I have had them for 2 years I will never buy Michelin tires again. Tire were great the first and part of the second year. Now they howl and extremely noisy, worse than aggressive pickup tires. Also I had the tires rotated every 5,000 miles. DO NOT BUY THE CROSSCLIMATE TIRES!
