While not as silky as higher thread counts, this bedding offers a pleasant, smooth touch against the skin. Like many cotton sheets, it might feel a little stiff right out of the packaging but tend to soften considerably after the first few washes.

These felt a little thin, but soft. However, I have a latex allergy and didn't realize that the elastic is not encased. I have purchased many Member's Mark sheet sets and the elastic has ALWAYS been covered so I didn't even think to look, before tossing in the washer. Online customer service was great about making the return, thankfully.
