While still a somewhat decent price, the added butter weight is a rip off. The butter is nasty, trash. In addition, this crab is extremely salty. We couldn't eat our batch. Took the packaging back and manager refused refund! I bought 3, we've had 2, both too salty.

Once thawed and water drained, I weighed the legs for two packages. The legs totaled 2.3 pounds on a lab grade scale. The butter added another 8 ounces total for 3.1 pounds net for two packages. The meat was salty and while not strong smelling, certainly not ocean fresh.

The absolute best. If I had a walk in freezer I would fill it. The butter sauce was as good as the crab. Legs were as long as my arm. I live in Louisiana and boil seafood often. Crabs are cooked but I boil water with crab boil and let legs heat up for 10 minutes in seasoned water. The best. I can't believe anyone would not give 5 stars. Thank you Sams club and Doug McMillon.
