Cozy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free mattress to test from the BzzAgent sampling program. First, the mattress is, overall, comfortable and supportive. I would say for a Medium it feels a tad bit softer than I expected. I have slept on it using only the bottom sheet for just under a week- no extra toppers - in order to give my honest opinion. It doesn't sleep too hot. I think it would be perfect with an extra cotton topper. Also, I am typically a side sleeper and found this doesn't aggravate my shoulder.

BAD Investment

I spent over $3500 for the pillow top firm and it has been the worst investment I have ever made. I am a single person and with one person sleeping on the mattress, it is hard to sleep all over the mattress to even out the pillow top sinking. Now the pillow top sinks in one area that I sleep and is very lumpy. I wake up hurting every morning. Now I will be trashing my investment when I can and going back to Beautyrest probably. I had a beautyrest mattress for 9 years before finally buying a new one. Losing over $3500 is a big hit.

Give it a week!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mattress soo much but if you don't, read this! When I initially received this mattress I was impressed by how sturdy and well constructed it looked. I was so excited to sleep on it but that first night was a disaster. I could not get comfortable, I kept tossing and turning. I hated it. I was so worried because I had already gave my old mattress away. BUT after less than a week of panicking over what I was going to do my body adjusted to the mattress and oh my god it was heavenly. Please don't make any judgments until you've tried it out for a week. It will be the best sleep you've ever had. This mattress firmly cradles your body it's like nothing I've ever tried.

Beautiful Mattress but not for me

This mattress is nicely made. But my lower back hurts. So do my hips. I cannot lay down on my hips at all. It hurts when I lie down on either my left or right hip. I do not recommend this mattress if you have hip pain. I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and weigh about 225lbs. I got the soft lux hybrid after trying the firm reserve, which was horrible because it gave me a lot of additional hip and lower back pain after trying it out for three months. I realize now that I'm not too fond of memory foam and wish I had never purchased this mattress.

BEST MATTRESS weve

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This MATTRESS is better than we could have imagined. It is ultra plus and is 16 inches thick which requires deep pocket sheets which is no big deal at all. When someone else is in the bed, you can barely feel their movements. My sleep has been so amazing and my aches and pains are no longer a problem. Thinking of replacing all of our mattresses with this brand!

Hot and Saggy

This mattress is hot and well, saggy. I am not that large but if I lie in the middle of the bed, I create a 4-6 inch impression which makes movement hard. I guess it is the memory foam that does that since it was not apparent at first. I have had a few back surgeries and need more support to keep my back in alignment.

Sleeping on a cloud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Stearns & Foster. Reserve soft pillowtop mattress is hands down the best bed I have ever slept on. I fall asleep immediately every night it is so comfortable. Another plus to this mattress is the built in box frame at the bottom so you don't need a box spring. I highly recommend Stearns & Foster's Reserve collection.

Nice comfortable bed with a big flaw for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've really enjoyed the feel and comfort of this bed except for a big flaw. It's the buttons riddled throughout. They just don't let me or my partner truly enjoy the pillow top mattress. They are hard and when tossing or turning in bed we sink into them. The only relief has been adding a comforter and blanket over the bed but then we feel that defeats the purpose. Other than that, yes the bed is is super luxurious feeling and looking. I missed the bed on a vacation but when I got back to my bed I turned over and felt the jab of the button on my side and I remembered how this mattress is close but not there yet. At least with the pillow top version.

Feeling Ripped Off

On 09/10/22 I purchased a Sterns & Foster "handcrafted" Lux Estate Hybrid Pollock King size mattress. I purchased the expensive mattress because it's promoted as premium brand with a "sleep worry-free for a decade" 10-year warranty. I also liked the 90-day sleep trial as I have a back injury and needed to make sure my back could tolerate the new mattress. Turns out I loved it. I loved it so much I convinced my parents to buy one of their own. Fast forward to 04/10/23. (Just a little over 6 months later.) The work that the "master craftsmen" did to stitch the mattress cover was coming apart. I filed a warranty claim and was emailed a response that tells me physical abuse and damage including cuts and tears to fabric aren't covered. First off, the mattress wasn't abused, and it wasn't a cut or a tear - the stitching was coming apart at the seam in multiple areas. When I called customer service at (800)697-3249 I was told there's nothing that could be done and was refused transfer to a manager because "the decision had already been made". This is not the answer I expect from a representative of a high-end product. Honestly that's the worst answer a customer service representative can tell someone who is having problems with any product. I purchased this mattress based on the reputation of Sterns & Foster. I told the rep that I was considering finding every single website I can that advertises this mattress to leave negative reviews because the Sterns & Foster website specifically sells this product with the marketing that it is "stitched to perfection". He told me if that's what I feel like I should do - then I should do it. I let him know that I would contact the corporate office first and give Sealy another chance to resolve this concern with my mattress. I'm really surprised that Sealy would treat customers in this manner. I took a chance buying an expensive mattress because I believed that premium products are better made and I also believed that I wouldn't have any issues, now that I do it's quite disappointing. Worse than disappointing, the marketing is deceiving when the website says that the 10-year limited warranty covers "all parts of the mattress". Fast forward and I feel like I am becoming The Princess and the Pea. After writing a letter & complaining directly to the corporate office my issue was sent to the warranty escalations team who authorized replacing the mattress. On May 18, 2023 a new king size Sterns & Foster mattress was delivered to my home and the other taken away. From the first night I could tell that the new mattress did not compare to the old one in any way. I wanted to give it a little time to see if my partner also felt the same way. I checked the website and realized that the Lux Hybrid doesn't even come in the Pollack or in cushion firm anymore - just soft, medium, and firm. I never received any sort of receipt or invoice from Sterns & Foster telling me what my replacement is, but the sleep quality is nowhere near what I was used to on the previous mattress. I absolutely LOVED the first mattress and If I had ANY idea that I would be sent a completely different replacement I would have sewed the stitching that was coming apart myself rather than send it back! After reviewing the website lately, I find the new Lux Hybrid mattresses don't have the row of microcoils that the first did when I ordered it last November and I believe this is the reason it feels so different to me - because it is made fundamentally different now. I am really surprised that the warranty escalations team would not warn me of the changes to the models before offering to replace the other. I feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place as the delivery personnel told me that the mattress they took away would be shredded. What a waste! Other than the stitching issue it was a perfectly good mattress and one that I would much rather have than the new one that Sealy sent. And it's not just that the replacement mattress is firmer; I can feel every time my partner moves, and its hotter - I have to kick the covers off at night when I am overheating. The other one simply had a stitching issue. Now Sealy has told me there's nothing else they will do as they claim the replacement mattress sent was identical to the first. What a cheap rip-off. I even purchased a new queen-sized Sterns & Foster mattress for my guest bedroom when Sealy stepped up and said they would replace the first. I wish I would've waited, I now believe Sealy has no intention of treating their customers right.

Worst Mattress ever

This mattress have a 1 1/2 dip in the mattress and the warranty dept. states is have a 1 1/4 inch. which in order for it to be covered under warranty it should be 1 1/2. Well Of course I went to small claims court today and the pro-tem, not a judge ruled in favor of stearns and foster because of their warranty clause. You cannot measure the dip in the mattress without laying on it and feel the sink. Your merchandise sucks and I will never buy any products from Sealy-tempur international inc. You make the customer think they are getting a new mattress when it is a second with a lot of defects. This product has caused severe back pain, and numbness. Potential customers run as far away from Stearn and foster and Tempur- pedic as fast as you can.
