Not sure if this was a direct Walmart Purchase or if it was from a 2nd or 3rd party vendor but the bottle was fine for a few months, when the bottle reached the 1/2 way mark (half full or half empty however you choose to view it) the spray pump or something went wonky on it and you like have to shake it, turn it upside down then revert it to normal position to even get a slight spray from the bottle. I know this could have been a defective bottle but it isn't like returning it at the 1/2 way mark would even be reasonable. I love Red Door, I've worn it for years and this is the first bottle that I have ever gotten that was wonky. As long as the bottle functions accordingly it's amazing and even though this was a crappy defective bottle I still recommend Red Door By Elizabeth Arden 1 million percent.

I have been buying this for my wife of 44 years for almost that long. She loves it, & for those of you blessed to have a good smeller, you know of women & men that us a a fragrance that's their smell. If it's a good smell you can tell they are there w/o seeing them by it's beauty. People stop her and ask what brand she has on because it fits her so well. I love it & she loves it & all that meet her love the fragrance.

I loved the old Red Door and everybody complemented me about this before. Unfortunately you changed the formula and now it smells very bad with lost of alcohol in it. Please bring the old classic red door back. I now switched my perfume and very disappointed. Why change something that was loved by a lot of women?

Red Door used to be one of the best fragrances ever created. It was a soft, powdery floral that made you feel better about yourself. After the change from the dome shaped bottle to the dark red door shaped bottle, the formula was altered. I don't understand why the company would change something that was a best seller for them. I am not the only one that feels this way. This fragrance holds a lot of special memories for many people, and now it's just not the same. Please, please bring back the original Carlos Benaim formula. Guess all we can do is ask and hope....

I had a bottle of Red Door since 2001 and I loved it. For 15 years I got compliments when I wore it. My sister liked it so much that I gifted her a new bottle. And she returned it to me saying it was "just not me". Yet when I smelled the new one and the old one side by side, they indeed smell very different. The new one smells less floral and a little more like dust and something sour/acidic, a little like urine. I'm sure the modern audience that still compliments me on the old Red Door does not appreciate the dusty urine smell. I'm so disappointed.

I've been wearing Red Door for 20+ years. I get compliments all the time from strangers telling me how great I smell. I'm allergic to a lot of frangrances so I don't spray this directly on my skin but instead I spray one squirt on each of the underside of my hair every morning before I walk out the door. I bought this scent for my mom years ago as well. This definitely works with my body chemistry. I feel so lucky to have found Red Door years ago as I don't like the smell of most perfumes.

I have used about 8 bottles of 100 ml Red door so far... and I just love it. The best I found after using Tocadilly. Since the discovery of Red door, I have not bought any other perfume for years. Early this year, the sales guy introduced to me the Red door Aura and I bought one. It was a disappointment. Somehow I finished it and just yesterday went and got myself a Red door again... Merry Christmas to me .....and you guys too ! :)

Red Door is my signature parfum and has been for 30 some odd years. I thought the description said Eau De Parfum. instead of Eau De Toilette. Toilette is more of a watered down fragrance. Of course there is a big difference, in price and amount. It was my mistake and the confusion of all of the different sizes and pictures. The Walmart online ad is confusing to me and you have to be very careful and paying attention. Obviously, I wasn't.

I have been buying for my bride for 30 years. Most of the big cosmetic stores have quit selling because it has been around so long. . The good thing is that it cost half as much because it is out of style. However, my wife smells great in it. She is always being asked by strangers what perfume she uses.

Since I am 14 years old I used Red Door. Was a gift for life ... Now I am nearly 35 years old and I continue using it .... I received other perfumes as a gift but my loyalty is for Red Door ... Never changed it . My aunt and hairdresser buy it as well, because the smell on my skin was amazing ... At the end they gave me the bottles because the chemestry with my skin is the perfect combination !!! No matter in which country I lived : Costa Rica, Israel, Nepal, Thailand, Philippines ==>Everybody who knows me for life, know thats my smell !!!! I WILL LOVE RED DOOR , TILL MY LAST DAY !!!
