Screen stopped working. I just purchased the speaker today evening. First time turned on screen is fine and showed Bluetooth, after connecting it disappeared and not working since then.

I've had this for about 3 weeks now and have gotten a lot of use from it. I can tell you that this thing really brings the sound to whatever level you need it for and at 1000W you can blast the neighborhood with your music if you are so inclined. The bass and treble are both fantastic delivering exceptional sound quality. Unit is heavy but the wheels make it easy to transport wherever it’s needed. Battery life is also great have never had a problem of running out of battery which is a pleasant surprise. Easy pairing using Bluetooth is great and gives you all the flexibility you need. Have not used the microphone except to test it when I first got it but worked just fine. All around I’m very pleased with it and the price is excellent.

If I could give it four and a half stars I would. The rating reduction is what I perceive as the midrange sounds are somewhat lost in the massive speaker. It produce bass sounds rather well. I did not have any problem connecting the Monster app which did help in tailoring the sound. However even after the adjustments the mids were not clearly audible. Several others have commented on the size and weight and they were not exagerating. This thing is HEAVY! The handle and wheels make it easy to move around the house or location where it will be used. However, if you plan on moving it to another location you may need some help in loading it into your car/truck. The only other issue is not being able to permenantly turn off the light show. The sale price at Sam's made it a strong contender for a five star speaker.

purchased with hope it only worked for 6 months then would only work if it was plugged in I contacted monster and they were no help told me to reset it and sent me in my way contacted them again to let them know reset did not work and they told me it was 6 months old and they were not going to help me so I am stuck with a over $200 speaker

The speaker was a bit heavier than what I anticipated, however the handle and rubber wheels make it really easy to move around and the handles on the side help when trying to lift. It came fully charged so we were able to use it right away which was really nice. The functionality of the unit itself was strait forward and easy to use. Overall the sound quality is good, just not great due to the limited adjustment settings. For example, I am unable to adjust the treble when in base boost mode. This might be due to user error and I am still playing with the sound settings on my phone because I feel like I might be missing something there. It also comes with a microphone that has its own independent sound settings and you can use it with music or just by itself. Despite our lack of singing ability it really is a fun extra. Another extra are the lights on the front of the machine. There are several options, but the one that glows with the beat is our favorite so far. Overall for the price this is a great speaker that we will be wheeling with us to our sports games, bonfires, church events, etc. I gave it 4 stars (would have said 4.5 if it was an option) only because of the limited EQ adjustability, everything else has been great so far!

Sound of product and features worked great but the quality of the product and warranty support is very bad. The first time I used the handle to pull the speakers on its wheels the handle broke. When I reach out to the company they just said it was physical damage and would not help me. I just lift the handle and the handle just split. I have sent them pictures and emailed them multiple times with the same response.

Not a bad speaker set up. Pros: Cabinet is constructed well, very nice layout with front and rear controls. Cons: The built in pre set EQ with bass and treble control makes very little difference is basically worthless. The presets sound aweful, then when you kick on the bass boost it takes it out of the preset EQ and overpowers the highs. I was on the verge of sending the unit back until I started using the EQ from Spotify before inputing it into the unit, you can't truly hear the potential of this speaker until you use an EQ from a source other than the Monster unit. Wow once I did the speaker came to life, you could hear the highs so much better and I was able tone down the Bass boost and come to a happy medium. Volume was much better as well, without the Spotify volume increase setting the speaker never felt like it got to its true potential. Out of the box it felt like an unfinished product, like it the EQ was rushed but fortunately there are ways around that. Honestly its not a bad deal for the money if you take control of the sound quality before its inputted into the unit. I might even buy another unit. If they improved the EQ control and volume my rating would go up to 5 stars. Would I recommend this to a friend, probably not until they improve the sound control. You shouldn't have to tweak the system to get it to sound good. Out of the box it wasn't good, I build custom vehicles and the speaker was for my shop so I was able to and now I enjoy the unit. Someone else maybe not so much.

THE BASS IS FANTASTIC. It is loud and clear. Ive been searching for a party speaker that will give you that almost concert or professional DJ party. Turning on the super bass gives you that vibration you feel in a club. I have not tested out how long the charge lasts but judging from others, 10 hrs is crazy good. It comes with a microphone and power cord. Oh before I forget, almost returned it because I thought it was defective. Turns out it was my phone causing a loud white noise sound. If you hear that, it means the bt volume on your phone is not high enough for the this powerful speaker. Only con...if you don't lift weights, this thing is a beast to pick-up. Once on the ground, the wheels are great. Very well made speaker. The bass alone sold me. Not enough reviews about the bass on this feed LOL. Go get one...you wont regret it....maybe the neighbors bahahaha!!!

When I buy a speaker like this, my main concerns are sound quality and battery life - and it does pretty well in those two categories. I only found one EQ mode that I like (Rock), and when in Rock mode with the bass boost enabled it sounds incredible! The other EQ modes are dull and flat, and the manual adjustments for bass & treble are mediocre. I wish it would remember the previous EQ & bass boost state each time you power it off & on, so that you don't need to manually configure it each time you use it. While it sounds great, it is extremely heavy and cumbersome to move around. I actually pulled a muscle in my back the first time I loaded it into my car and couldn't walk right for a week! And the build quality is also very poor - the very first time I went to mount it on a tripod, the small plastic knob broke which is used to tighten it onto the stand. And then after about a month of taking it around to youth baseball games, the plastic part of the telescoping handle broke while I was pulling it and the speaker fell flat on its back and knocked something loose on the inside. So in the end, I even though it sounds great and has great battery life, I will be returning it due to the unacceptable build quality and excessive weight which makes it difficult to move around.
