Roomba 675

Received my Roomba 675 for Christmas 2020. I have wood floors and area rugs in all rooms. I have four dogs and the parakeets so my house is covered in dog fur, feathers and bird seed. I was vacuuming and dry mopping my floors up to three times a day. Betty cleans the house while I'm at work and I come home to clean floors. I wish I would have asked for her for Mother's Day. I will be purchasing one for my mothers house. I have recommended to my friends and family.

Handy but don't rely on for thorough cleaning

Good to run daily for dirt that gets tracked in. Misses some open areas entirely. Misses along cabinet bases often. Persian rug fringe jams so can't run in the room that rug is in. Gets stuck on wires so have to make sure all lamp wires are cleared. Often, goes under a piece of furniture & just stays there. Could never set to run when I'm not home. Needs supervision:)

Horrible customer service, and failed product.

Disingenuous product offering with horrible customer service. After the roomba was found on our rug for the 6th time, and not in the base, we realized it would quit on our multiple area rugs. Contacted customer support only to find out this vaccum cannot drive over dark patterns in carpet, because it thinks it's the stairs. Not listed anywhere in documentation nor on the box. The solution? Upgrade to the $800 model that they put the "better sensors" in. I'm sorry, sensors that know how to vacuum the floor correctly should be standard if this vacuum is to do its job automatically as that is the only selling point. Automatic empty feature and things like that make perfect sense to me for upgrades. NOT the sensors that make it possible to vacuum over carpet patterns. After I push back and ask for supervisor they offer me the boundary sensors for free. Mind you, these used to be included with this model years ago when irobot was trying to build their reputation. They are clearly less concerned about the customer now. In the end I never recieved my boundary sensors and was left with an automatic vacuum that will not vacuum automatically. Would not even take the vacuum back and give me a refund. This is complete nonsense, and the opposite of a company focused on customer satisfaction.

Would definitely NOT buy again!

Wish I had known does not work on area rug with black in pattern. Also, impossible to get help with this problem. Local repair shop advised Roomba Company had fix and to contact them. Called IRobot Roomba customer service. They were rude and informed me there is no fix. Only wanted to tell me what caused the problem, which I already knew. Definitely do not recommend.

I WOULD BUY AGAIN

I TRY TO USE HAZEL EVERYDAY, HOWEVER, MY BATTERY KEEPS GOING DEAD AND WONT CHARGE. I HAVE REPLACED THE BATTERY 3 TIMES AND REPLACED THE CHARGER 2 TIMES. ITS STILL TELLING ME TO PLEASE CHARGE ROOMBA. IM VERY FRUSTRATED. OTHERWISE I HAVE NO OTHER COMPLAINT SHE CLEANS GOOD AND EFFICENTLY, I HAVE TWO LARGE DOGS AND GRANDKIDS ARE HERE EVERYDAY

not worth if if you have a dark carpet

bought this to help keep up with the dog, have an area rug with a black stripe on it, if it goes on the carpet it stops and thinks it is near a clif there should be a way to stop that if you live on a single level home. its useless unless you are home to constantly monitor it!

Worth every penny

We are very happy with our purchase. Our "Fur Buster" is essential for keeping our home looking great. We have a very furry dog (golden retriever) and she is high maintenance on our floors. We run our I robot 3 times a week and it cuts down on my daily chores trying to combat the fur.

Only cleans some parts of some rooms

Seems to do OK cleaning where it goes. Gets stuck repeatedly every time. Only seems to complete part of a room. Never cleans some rooms. Repeatedly runs into same pieces of furniture. Can't find dock unless you set it right in front of it. Have to vacuum again after frustration makes us shut it off. Not sure why so many people like Roomba??

Love this roomba

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this alot. It took alot of the time and hassle out of cleaning. It does get clogged alot but I have long shedding hair plus 2 pups so that's to be expected. Only problem I had was getting it to connect to my phone. It just wouldn't work!

Obsessed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised with the Roomba 675. My apartment is large, has multiple rooms with sharp corners that are both wood and carpeted rooms. The roomba navigated my apartment with ease. I was surprised with how well the Roomba is at cleaning pet hair. As a dog mom, I vacuum all the time, so this is very helpful to make sure my apartment stays as fur free as possible. I am a crazy dog mom, so I posted a funny video of my Chocolate lab and the Roomba meeting for the first time. I posted this on my dogs Instagram account (haha) and iRobot both commented on his video and sent a direct message! So that was pretty awesome. Attached is the comment from iRobot! Ovedall, pleasantly surprised with the Roomba 675!
