Wish I had known does not work on area rug with black in pattern. Also, impossible to get help with this problem. Local repair shop advised Roomba Company had fix and to contact them. Called IRobot Roomba customer service. They were rude and informed me there is no fix. Only wanted to tell me what caused the problem, which I already knew. Definitely do not recommend.

I absolutely love Rhonda. She does a wonderful job. We put her to the test by putting stuff to be vacuumed up in different parts of the room and under furniture, mainly because when we first turned her on she acted like a crazy lady going all over the place and I thought "no Way" this crazy thing is not going to work. Well, much to my delight she passed with flying colors. The floors were spotless and ready to be mopped. We are very careful to be sure she gets a thorough cleaning after each use. This is well worth the time for the good job she does. In fact, I am thinking of getting Rhonda a friend to work on other rooms while she is working on her half of the house. I highly recommend The Roomba. A very happy customer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were very happy to welcome Rudy to our home! As we have two dogs who love to shed, Rudy got to work right away! This is a nice way to get some everyday cleaning in, knowing that being crazy busy, there would be no way we could vacuum everyday. However, having two dogs, it's not something we would leave out running when we are not home. One recommendation... these should come with googly eyes! We picked some up so Rudy could see better!

We are very happy with our purchase. Our "Fur Buster" is essential for keeping our home looking great. We have a very furry dog (golden retriever) and she is high maintenance on our floors. We run our I robot 3 times a week and it cuts down on my daily chores trying to combat the fur.

I got it from a friend as a gift. Used it for a while, and now it is only moving at one place in spite of cleaning. I have changed it the bin and brushes but that money was also waste. Now I am returning it for some credit. But, I'll try another company this time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been aware of iRobot products for some time but didn't realize what I was missing until I used the Roomba 675. This is my best friend. I love that I can schedule it to vacuum while I'm away and coming back to clean floors. I have 2 cats in a small studio apartment. They shed constantly and cat litter gets tracked throughout my place. Roomba vacuums it all. I can't imagine life without one now. I'd highly recommend Roomba 675 to others.

Use to help keep up with dog hair daily. Have to clean brushes after every use (we have golden retriever). Does not always clean along walls. Will bounce from wall to wall. Clean same area over and over and over again. 50/50 chance it finds the docking base before battery dies. But even with all that I do see a difference in the dog hair and am glad to have it.

The saying, "you get what you pay for," certainly fits with this vacuum. I bought this as my entry level and first robot vacuum. It looks like I should've started at the higher end and paid more money. This vacuum is very loud. It moves end tables, a coffee table and chairs. Yes, only slightly but enough to have to go back and put everything in place. The vacuum gets stuck between chair and table legs. It does a good job picking up cat hair and cleaning most of the floor, but the anxiety it causes isn't worth it.

I have found he went from being a very smart bot, to one less smart over time. I'm not sure what changed, but he fell down the stairs (after stopping for a few months) and now seems to forget what he is doing and even sometimes can't find his way home. But I still love him! It just requires me blocking off the top of the stairs, and watching to make sure he doesn't get stuck in corners or under furniture and herding him to dock once he starts to run down. It is pretty amazing what he can accomplish in 1 1/2 hours.
