I am of Polish decent and it reminds me very much of Polish Babka that for years, I made every Easter %26 Christmas. The only difference is the rum. Since I no longer make the Babka, it's the next best thing.

I use Bauducco Panetton to make my sweetheart French toast every year around Christmas time...it's better if the slices are 1 1/2 inches thick...I make him enough to freeze (4 loaves) but it is usually all gone by mid February 😆

My wife says that this brand is close the the flavor of her favorite from Peru!! However, when we went back to purchase this again it was not available...

This cake/bread is a tradition, and I always try to keep the regular or vanilla (no fruit) versions in supply for holidays and guests. This is a Brazilian product--technically--because the family emigrated, but I can confirm it beats almost all Italian competitors.

Panettone is moist and flavorful but both the ones I bought were somewhat crushed and collapsed inside the boxes and were so firmly adhered to the paper baking pans that I couldn't remove them without causing a lot of visual damage to the loaves. Fortunately, I bought these to use in a bread pudding recipe so the physical damage was less of a factor than it would have been otherwise.

Not as great as fresh baked panettone but still tastes good, especially considering the price to the other stores.

The box was dented and I could not get the dent out. I serve sliced pieces with sweet butter. I am hoping its a good cake. We open between Christmas and New Years.

This panettone is made in Brazil and it is not as good as the one of the same brand made in Italy. Go back to the original source. You already have reduced the size of this item multiple times do not also reduce its quality.

Actual product had bashed in side, was way overcooked, almost scorched. The fruit pieces, i think it is pineapple, Were hard. I was really disappointed, especially when It cost $15.90. Is it possible to get a refund?

sorry not the Italian panstone I was expecting. If you like just raisins and a vanilla taste you’ll like this one. I was disappointed it did not have candied citrus peel and the heavy vanilla flavor in the cake was too much. I would not buy again
