This is a good, compact little chest freezer. It's tough, too. I noticed that a corner of the box was a bit roughed-up at the store, but it looked purely cosmetic. When we unpacked the freezer at home, I found that the corner of the freezer was heavily damaged as well. I took off the access panel off and checked for frayed wiring or damage to the wall of the freezer compartment or condenser system and found none, so I plugged the appliance in. (I would have returned it if we didn't live so far from Sam's Club.) It ran fine and has been cooling well. I would say that the metal used for the outside shell is unusually thin, and the framework that supports that shell, especially in the condenser compartment, is also less strong than some fork-lift operator realized. However, the machinery inside works great and the integrity of the freezer compartment itself is not damaged. My recommendation to other purchasers would be to open the box at the store in order to check the condition of the freezer inside before taking it home. If you take a roll of duct tape along, you might be able to reclose the box for the drive home. :)

Seems to be doing the job. I had it delivered and it came with a couple of small dents on the lid and one on the bottom of the inside of freezer, but it doesn't affect the functionality so blah.

EVERYONE ELSE WAS OUT OF THIS SIZEFREEZER OR PRICED OUTRAGIOUS. WE WERE HAPPY TO FIND IT AND OUTSIDEPICK UP WENT WELL. MY MR PARKED, CALLED, AND THEY CAME OUT AND LOADED. NO DENTS AT HOME, WORKS SO FAR SO MY SISTER N LAW IS HAPPY

Nice little freezer at a good price. I had to remove it from my truck and install in my garage with limited use of one arm from surgery. It was very light and got it done. SATISFIED

I bought this a month ago and have had 2 deliveries, both arrived damaged. Don't have the time or patience to wait for another pick up followed by another delivery. Extremely dissatisfied.

We bought this little freezer when our fridge/ freezer broke, to use until we were able to get a new fridge/freezer, and it has so far served us well.

I have had this freezer for many years and it works very well for a small family. This recent purchase was for by daughters family. She loves it. She says its just the right size.

I just needed a small freezer and this guy fits the bill. I like the basket in it and how deep it goes. Perfect for what i need. The price was just right.

Freezer had major damage. Looks like it was ‘rolled' off the truck and down the street. Went to Sam's with pictures. Was told I had to bring freezer into store. I am 65 years old and drive a compact car. No way I can bring freezer to store and store manager said there was nothing they could or would do for me. So I'm stuck with a worthless piece that of junk and out the money it cost.

I purchased this for my son and daughter in law and arranged pick-up by a family member who borrowed a truck. When the box was opened one corner was dented so that the freezer wouldn't sit without a wobble. With no way to get it back to sam's and food starting to thaw, they had no choice but to keep it. I have always had good luck with Sam's but because it was a pick-up instead of a delivery they could not pick it up and replace it with a new one. So my kids were out of luck. shame.
