Bought this mattress thinking I would really love it but I don't. Although I bought soft the mattress just feels hard. I'm having trouble adjusting to it. I read all the good reviews but laying on the mattress at the store was not a good way to determine the comfort of the mattress

I like the feel of the mattress and its support. I have the Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt Medium Hybrid California King. Before purchasing I read comments regarding "sleeping hot" but I did not take them seriously. If you purchase this mattress I believe that you will feel the hotness as I am awaken by it numerous times during the night. Again, it a good mattress with a wonderful feel to its sleeping surface but it is the "hotness" that ruins it for me. I recommend this product but with the aforementioned provisos. Pretty unhappy now and I don't know what to do.

We ordered the AdaptPro Firm mattress. It was a pricey purchase, but after the first night sleeping on it, we concluded it was worth every dollar dime and cent. We have been sleeping wrong ALL OUR LIVES. LOL. We are sleeping more sound and getting more quality sleep. We don't feel any movement from the other person. We love everything about it and wouldn't change anything.

This mattress is way too firm, actually it's hard. It is like sleeping on the floor. I really hope to fall in love with it but I'm having my doubts. I've read that there is an "adjustment" period, but I don't know if that means the bed will soften up or that I will get use to the hardness. The sample at the store was firm but very comfortable and I could feel it contouring to my body, but my bed did zero contouring. I am very disappointed but it has only been one night. Actually the idea of having to adjust to a bed is a bit ridiculous. i don't know if I can exchange the bed for Medium firmness but I may try. Remember too that the mattresses at the store have been repeatedly sat and layed on so over time they soften up. I don't have that sort of time, plus I weight 170 and I sleep alone so will my body weight alone soften the bed up enough for me to really find comfort and joy my expensive purchase. Overall the bed is beautiful and well made. Quality is top of the line.

My previous mattresses were a Sealy coil/box spring and most recently a Simmons Beauty Rest coil/box spring which I had for almost 10 years . In the last six to eight months with the Simmons, I started feeling back pain as the middle of the mattress started to sag. The first couple of nights on the Tempur-Pedic felt foriegn compared to what I'd been used to for a decade; now that I've been sleeping on it for 10 weeks, I can easily say that it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned. At first, I wondered if the medium Hybird was too firm, but no; after less than a week, I now sleep very, very good every single night. Yes, Tempur-Pedic mattresses are expensive but they are worth the price, I have no regrets. I work a lot of hours all the time, averaging about 5 1/2-6 hours of sleep 6 of 7 days a week. I needed something really comfortable allowing me to fall asleep quick in the hours I have which is what the Tempur-Pedic offers. Oh yah, I have the pillows too, which are very nice.

This mattress was so soft in the store, instant love. My hubby likes a slightly firm mattress, and I prefer sleeping in clouds. The salesperson told us to jump on the bed (we don't have the electric base) so that it'd add wear to it. The first 2 weeks I slept okay but the bed was firm. It adapted to my body, but honestly I wasn't comfortable and thought I'd just made a HUGE financial mistake buying it. Fast forward 6 weeks and my standpoint has changed, A LOT! The mattress still seems a little firmer when we first lay down, but it adapts to your body and is so comfy. I've been getting some of the best sleep I've ever gotten. Hubby is a side/back sleeper and I'm a side/stomach sleeper. Side note: both hubby and I were getting weekly, sometimes bi-weekly adjustments at the chiropractor. In the 8 weeks of owning the bed, we've each only been adjusted once. Our chiropractor said that the bed is really helping us by providing the support we need in our necks/backs.

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! We received this bed as our previous Tempurpedic Contour Elite which was only 2 1/2 years old was defective and after trying the new Pro Adapt soft mattress a few nights we tried to exchange it for a Pro Adapt Medium mattress and were told we could not after we were given the run around. so we got rid of it. Ten nights of very uncomfortable rest was all we could take. We have been exclusively Tempurpedic customers since our first mattress in 2002 and have owned three mattress since but will not purchase again.

I bought this mattress as a replacement for the first Tempur-pedic mattress that I bought. This new one sleeps like a dream just like my first one! I am definitely a Tempur-pedic customer for life!

Absolutely love the cooling gel top. It's summer, so the little bit of cooling is a blessing. In the winter I'll be able to zip off the top (cooling gel top) and sleep warmer, if needed. We also purchased the Ease 2.0 base which has zero gravity....Hands down the best nights sleep I've had in years!!! Yes, Tempur-Pedic is slightly more money than some but WELL worth the investment. This is the 2nd Tempur-Pedic we have owned in 25+ years and will not sleep on anything else!! Thanks Tempur-Pedic...We LOVE your products
