It was time for a new bed. We had a 12inch memory foam and it was super worn in. We went into the store with open minds on different types of beds. We tried out several different types but ultimately still preferred medium/ soft beds. We tried out the medium hybrid bed with the bed frame that vibrates and lifts the bottom and top mattress. Absolutely love it and I wish we got a new one sooner. Sleep ten times better on it. It's not to soft and not to firm. I have bad shoulders and I'm a side sleeper, not once so I wake up in pain. It's definitely worth every penny.

Greatest mattress ever. When we first got it we had some hesitations. Learned that you have to wait 5 to 6 seconds when you first lay down or roll over for the mattress to conform and support your entire body. We have not slept so well in years. No bed shake felt when either one gets up or down during the night. Love it !!!

Over the years (as I am 64) my back has degenerated to the point a regular mattress is NOT comfortable. A year ago I had spinal fusion and a spacer inserted in my lower back. Unfortunately, Scoliosis runs in my family and our daughter was born with it. The TempurPedic has been a great product for our family. I am so grateful this product is available to us through our Military Exchange. We are forever grateful TempurPedic supports the military. I had a great experience at Jordan's furniture buying my temperpedic mattress. I purchased the soft option and should have gone a little firmer. But I made the selection, so I have to live with it. It's far superior to my old mattress. I also looked at sleep number bed, but chose temperpedic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the hunt for a new mattress when Tempur-Pedic sent me this one for free in exchange for an honest review. My husband and I both prefer a soft mattress and we were excited to give this one a shot. It did not disappoint! While it seemed fairly firm at first, it relaxed over a couple of days to become super cozy while still being supportive. (It also took a couple of days to lose the factory scent, but it was never too bad and I just left the window open the first day.) When you lie down, your body slowly sinks into the foam top until you are perfectly supported. I sleep on my stomach and my husband sleeps on his back and we are both feeling fresh in the mornings. We have been sleeping on this mattress for a couple of weeks and we are pretty happy. My one gripe is that the top is very smooth and my sheets will occasionally slip right off over the corners, but it's not an issue I would deduct any stars for. Fresh sheets feel nice and crisp over the smooth surface. It's very warm out but the mattress seems to stay fairly cool. If you like a soft bed, give this one a shot!

I expected that it would probably take a few weeks to settle in to a new mattress but was very surprised that it was so comfortable from day one. I have back pain and being able to adjust the mattress position with the Ergo base has helped my back pain tremendously. I am getting a much more restful night of sleep.

Purchased our Pro Adapt Firm to replace a Tempur-Pedic purchased in 2004 ...I had spinal fusion surgery then and bought it on my Doctors recommendation...my wife recently had a similar back surgery and we decided to retire our old mattress and get a new upgrade with an Ease Base...we continue to be happy and comfortable...especially our backs...Count us VERY SATISFIED Customers...

We have never had a tempurpedic before and really wanted to try one, but didn't want to shell out as much money for the other models. We opted for this bed in a box based on the tempurpedic name and reviews. So far, we find it very comfortable and it is just the right firmness. We have slept so much better on this mattress, then with our prior mattress. I also don't get woken up as easily when my husband moved in the night. Definitely recommend!

To be completely honest when I walked into the mattress store and saw the prices of these mattresses I was ready to walk out and get something more affordable. I purchased a brand new mattress about 3 years prior and since the day I bought it I've woken up in pain everyday and I didn't want to go through that again with a mattress that was more than 3 times the price I paid for my current mattress. After speaking with the sales person about return options and warranties I finally took a crowbar to my purse and bought the mattress. Let me tell you, this is the best mattress I've ever slept on. I wake up every morning and feel great. No more pain or numbness. No more getting massages because my back and shoulders are killing me. This mattress has changed my quality of life so much that if I knew then how great I would feel each day by changing the mattress I sleep on, I wouldn't have thought twice about the cost. You spend probably about a third of your life in you bed, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and get a quality mattress because it really makes a huge difference.

I cannot be more pleased with my mattress. I never thought a mattress like my hybrid existed. It has by far exceeded ALL standards of perfection for me. I struggled with the price, trust me I did. After trying and returning other reputable mattresses from other companies , I bit the bullet and went forward with Tempur-Pedic. I can honestly say they are worth every penny. I am a customer for life. The adaptability, comfort, firmness, coolness is literally tailored to my body. This company knows waht it's doing.
