I love the new bed. It is really firm so I'm getting use to it. I think it will be perfect in about 6 months or so. I love the no pressure point aspect! My shoulders and hips don't get sore anymore. I love the cold feel too! My old bed made me hot and I'm not hot anymore. I put it on an adjustable bed frame and love it! The only issue is that the mattress slips off the side and I have to fix it or at least check it before getting into bed at night.

I finally gave in after I hurt my back trying to flip out king size mattress. We shopped around and finally decided on a Tempur-ProAdapt mattress. What a difference our purchase made. No more tossing and turning throughout the night and even better no more back pain in the morning. I had always attributed all of my morning aches and pains as just part of getting older. I was totally wrong. Now when I wake up in the morning I can actually hop out of bed and be ready to go. I no longer have to slowly stand up to get my back to the point where I can actually walk. Another really wonderful result of the new mattress is that neither of us feels the other one getting into or out of the bed allowing the other to continue to sleep undisturbed. Hands down this mattress is the best purchase we have made in regards to our comfort and well being.

I would give this 5 stars for comfort but am disappointed at how hot it gets in the summer. Of course I am offered an upgrade to the cool breeze if I want to spend another $1000. Disappointing that for as much as this mattress was that it sleeps so hot. Can not beat the comfort though, and since I live in a cooler climate the bed is perfect for half the year. My back pain has disappeared.

I've bought 4 mattresses in my adult life and nothing has ever made a dent in my terrible sleep, and for the first time in my life, after using this mattress- I wake up refreshed!! It sleeps cool, so I don't find myself sprawling all around, trying to find the cold spots anymore, and my joints don't ache at all! I'm replacing all of my mattresses in my other rooms with this immediately. I didn't even know a mattress could make this big of a difference.

With my firm mattress, I don't get the effect of sinking into my mattress, but still get the pressure relief and conforming to my body. I believe that owning a Tempur-Pedic mattress and pillow that is the right one for you is the key to achieving a restful night sleep and pain free. I no longer have to go for a biweekly massage that, oftentimes, only causes more neck and back pain. What is so wonderful about my Tempur-ProAdapt mattress is that it contours to the shape of my body. There are times when I do not lay my head on my Tempur-Pedic pillows, and that is absolutely fine too if you ask me. So far, I own two mattress from Tempur-Pedic and I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is going to last me more than 20 years. With care, weekly laundry-washing, and the soft touch of Tempur-Pedic bedsheets and pillow covers, I know for a fact that IT IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF ME! I hadn't been sleeping on a tempur Pedic for a couple years and would wake up in absolute agony. Some mornings, I would have to crawl out of bed and hobble around, my back and hips screaming with each movement. Now that I am back to a Tempur Pedic, life is so good! We previously had a Tempur-Pedic mattress that we bought in 2005 and we were/are still using it with no problems. When we were going to purchase this mattress and then we chickened out because of the price and purchased a cheaper version. Before we actually used it we recanted, and returned the cheaper version and purchased this. Glad we did with no complaints. Worth the money!

This is my 3rd Tempur-Pedic mattress, as the others tended to be transported into guest rooms for their enjoyment! I have had multiple knee surgeries, sinus, Achilles' tendon issues. I hike over 100 miles per month. I started out with the original mattress about 2006, then switched to a softer one 5 years later after surgery. I moved recently and sold the mattresses, and everyone wants to buy even a used Tempur-Pedic mattress. I bought the Pro-Adapt because of my activity and age (66). Love it. Never disappointed in their mattresses. I advise to go into a store, take an hour and try out the varieties. You won't be disappointed. Invest in yourself and your body.

I've actually enjoyed this mattress more than I expected to. My previous experiences with memory foam haven't been great, since I tend to sleep warm. But I've been very comfortable with the ProAdapt despite the weather getting warmer. As a side sleeper I prefer a softer plushier mattress and this has been doing the trick. It's soft enough to not cause me hip and arm/shoulder pain from being on my side, but still very much supportive enough. I'm very happy with it!
