We had recently purchased a Sleep Number bed/foundation that we were very unhappy with. We returned it and immediately purchased a Tempurpedic. We had looked at them several times prior to the Sleep Number bed. We are now thrilled and sleep great with the bedding.

Slept on our new mattress (ProAdapt 2.0 Hybrid Med.) for a couple of weeks now and am very happy. I'm not waking up with a backache or neck pain. My boyfriend's shoulder isn't hurting when he wakes up. The best part is I'm not falling into a hole anymore. My boyfriend weighs much more than I do and I always had to climb out of the whole in the mattress and cling to the side of the bed. No more, mattress is flat even when he lays down. That alone was worth buying this mattress!

Our 7 year old Tempur-Pedic mattress was failing and we were not sleeping well. Customer Service directed me to their warranty qualifications. We were granted a new mattress via email within 2 days of submitting the warranty requirements. Our new mattress was delivered in 2 weeks as promised. Customer service was awesome. Because warranties usually have loop holes, we were prepared to purchase a new mattress. In fact, we had been shopping and were very close to making a competitor's purchase. I am so glad I made the phone call to Tempur-Pedic. We choose the firm. Although we thought the firm was a bit too firm, we slept 10 hours straight that first night without tossing and turning. We overslept (by 3 hours!), we were late for work, and it was worth it. The firm proved to be perfect.

It's a very comfortable bed. It took some adjusting. I would wake with sore shoulders but I was warned about the break in period. I now don't wake to sore shoulders. We do have an adjustable base. I get hot sleeping and this bed isn't a cool temperature bed. The dense foam holds heat. We have an upgraded mattress pad that's suppose to help but I still run hot. Keep in mind I live in MN and it was winter when I bought it. My wife even said she gets warm. I think I'm going to buy the mattress protector the sales man said people complained about being too cold. Great mattress but holds heat.

My fiancé and I LOVE our Tempur-Pedic Pro Adapt bed. It seriously is the best sleep that we have ever gotten and such a great investment. I wake up well-rested and I do NOT have trouble falling asleep at all. I can't say enough things about this bed! We wake up pretty early, so getting great rest is essential for us, which our new bed does a fantastic job of doing!

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! This is my second Tempurpedic mattress - the first one I had was a Queen size Tempur cloud, medium firmness, and I replaced it with this mattress after 10 years, because I wanted a King size bed. Upon first use - the Pro-Adapt seemed softer than my Cloud was, so i was skeptical and debating if a "firm" mattress would have been a better call. However, I had been starting to get sciatica on one side, and now that I've been sleeping on this mattress for about 5 weeks the sciatica is basically gone and I haven't made any other changes to my lifestyle. I can't tell if the hybrid mattress is more firm on the sides or not, I got the hybrid after reading reviews that say Hybrid mattresses last longer than mattresses that are all memory foam. Since these mattresses come with a hefty price tag I wanted to try and get as many years out of it as I can. Also important to note, the mattress itself is really heavy, which makes tucking sheets in under the sides a little challenging, and if you live alone (like I do), I wouldn't expect to be moving it around by yourself, like if you were changing bed frames or furniture. All that said, I really like this mattress - the white glove delivery service was great, the new style of zip off mattress cover is much easier to taken off/put on than the old style, and this mattress doesn't keep me as hot as my cloud did, presumably from the cooling cover.

All the TV ads and hype may be a bit exaggerated. I find my new mattress to be less comfortable than I had hoped. I wish I had asked about a softer model. I got the medium. It is not for side sleepers for sure. It also is not cooler as promised. For the large sum of money it cost, I would have hoped for a nice night's sleep and no aches in the mornings. Since it's still very new, I'm hopeful it will bring more comfort as it gets used more.

I fell in love with this bed the first time I laid on it. Tempur-pedic nailed it with this bed, its not too soft or too firm. I fall asleep faster, wake up feeling refreshed, and ready for the day! Before owning this bed, I had the cloud, which I also loved, but this bed is 10 times better! The only thing I do not like about this bed, is the fact I can't really tell that it sleeps any cooler than my cloud did.

I love the mattress and it's very comfortable the only thing the top of the mattress material is very slippery so when you put on a mattress pad it is very slippery and slides. I wish they had used a different material for the top part of the mattress. You can purchase a mattress protector from them but I've read some reviews and sounds like it bunches up and is slippery also.
