We tried another memory foam mattress (trying to save $$$) and ended up returning it. Once you sleep on a Tempur Pedic it's hard to switch to anything else. Originally we planned to get the soft version, but after testing out the different models in store we opted for the hybrid. We are both side sleepers and needed a "soft"mattress. For those looking for soft model I recommend testing this hybrid. It is actually very soft yet has the firmness for sitting or laying on the edge.

From night one, I could instantly tell a difference in my overall sleeping experience. It took me less time to get comfortable and fall asleep and I also slept better and longer while waking up refreshed and well rested the next day. I highly recommend!!!!

However, I wish it had been designed with the bed frame in mind. We had a bit of a struggle getting it set up and making it work well with the king-size frame I bought separately.

The plus is that the adjustable bed makes my legs feel so much better. I suffer from adult onset muscular dystrophy and the various settings are so helpful with my comfort. We've had this mattress for going on two years, and have hoped that it would get softer and more comfortable in time. It has not, my girlfriend are having back problems and do not get a restful sleep. And it's only gotten worse the longer we use this mattress. It is a firm/medium feel. You can sleep close to the edge without falling off. My back pain is much less then before. But not totally gone. I have only been sleeping on it for about a month. The big question is, was it worth the money? If you have an extra $4,000 it would be fine. I wouldn't go into debt to get one.
