I'm a tempur fan and after having the rhapsody for 10 years it was time to upgrade. I purchased this bed and it was initially hard but so was my first bed. I expected it but I did purchase the bed topper which was expensive but well worth it. I wanted a firm bed but until it settles to my body I needed a back up plan. Regardless it was worth the money!

This was great for my lower back problem, which I no longer have. It is a high quality mattress with a high price, but really worth the money. This is my second one. I had my first one for 20 years. I should note that it was making my abs burn after laying on it for more that 8 hours straight. It was like doing a tiny crunch every time I moved. I move a lot when I sleep so I was getting quite a workout. After round a month my abs were used to it and were quite firm, and the morning burn went away. Maybe I'm the only one who experienced that, but the mattress is so comfortable and my wife loves it so much I decided to just live with it and take the workout while I was sleeping as a perk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my back pain exacerbated 2years ago, I bought a tempur-proadapt firm for my guest bedroom first because I didn't want to give up my beloved mattress. Over the course of a year, I would sleep on the mattress in the guest bedroom with each exacerbation to see if my back pain would go away. Each time with everything I took and did, my back pain would go away and I would go back to my bed only to have another exacerbation. After doing this back and forth, I realized my old mattress was causing the exacerbations. I gave up and bought a proadapt firm mattress and foundation for my queen bed and couldn't be happier.

I did my homework and found out that the Tempur-ProAdapt was the replacement for our old mattress. My wife was a little hesitant at first but she went along with my choice. What a difference! It was like sleeping on the old mattress when it was new. It may feel really firm but it truly conforms to your body giving you the best sleep. I have extreme back issues but after sleeping on the new Temp-ProAdapt I felt like a new man again. Thanks Tempur-Pedic!

So this is my second tempur-pedic bed. My husband had been bugging me to get a king bed, even though the queen I had was still amazing after 7 years. So when we were shopping it looks like some of the models had changed. This after our first night sleep I immediately noticed this bed didn't sleep any where near as hot as my old one! However, like my previous bed, there is a breaking in period sort of like shoes so that the bed can sort of conform to your body. This takes a bit of time, but if you're upgrading for a not so quality bed this might be an instant upgrade. I really like the updates and changes since my last purchase and when it came time to buy a bigger bed, I really didn't consider anything else!

We wanted to try tempur-pedic mattresses after my husband slept on one in his sister's house. We did a lot of research ahead of time and visited showrooms with the products. We chose hybrid because it lessens motion transfer. This product was way softer than we anticipated and after just a few weeks neither of us was sleeping well and both of us woke up with hip, back and knee pain. We sent the mattress back.

This mattress is very firm and does not pair well with an adjustable base,I bought this mattress online so it is not fault of temper pedic,but ultimately I had to send it back. Still trying to find a mattress that will replace my 89 year old mother's original temper pedic mattress she loved but they don't make their original temper pedic mattress anymore and now she has to sleep in an uncomfortable recliner because her original mattress is to worn out to sleep on and hurts her back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bed is ok, works fine, almost too firm compared to what we tested in the stores. Delivery and customer service were awful. Delivery "forgot" to put our bed on the truck the first day with little apology, more like "oh-well, not our problem." After a conversation with them explaining the difficulty in being away from work as we are both directors in our respective companies, they promise to schedule delivery for the following week, later after 4pm. 5 days later my husband is pulled away from work at because they were on their way to deliver our bed, absolutely before 4, well before 4. To make it right they offered to send us 2 pillows. Fine, I was going to purchase new pillows anyways. Although it doesn't return the significant time away from work I don't have to shop for new pillows. This was the last correspondence from them 3 weeks ago, mid-September. Since then nothing, no emails, no pillows, and no answering the phone. I sent a follow up email from my email address, my name was used to purchase the bed but contact info was for my husband so he could coordinate things, quickly received a response telling me to go to the third party I purchased from. I purchased directly through the web site. I responded with this information and my husband's information and received a very rude and short response stating they couldn't find any record of my purchase with them so they couldn't help. I've finally sent the correspondence with my husband attached to my email. Let's see what happens. I suspect more of the same- nothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I consider myself a loyal consumer of tempurpedic mattresses, having purchased 8 mattresses in the past 3 years for my homes. Unfortunately, tempurpedic does not value customer loyalty or honor their own warranty as my recent warranty request was summarily dismissed without a call or any other outreach than a cold email denying my request to address a failed 6 year old deformed tempurpedic mattress. I choose to do business with firms that honor their warranties and will not be purchasing another product from this company.

The comfort is amazing. I recently went on vacation. As I suspected I miss my Tempur-pedic. The only issue I have so far is finding sheets that fit the adjustable bed.
