I bought the keurig Platinum, love this machine, however, it does come with a variety of sample K-cups to try. I tried the Nantucket green mountain first. I thought there was something wrong with the water I used, it was a terrible aftertaste! Yuck! I will know for sure after my next cup of coffee!

I just got a Keurig a couple months ago and have been trying the medium and light roasts offered on this site. Nantucket has made it into my short list of cups to reorder in the future. I understand why so many love it. There's no acidity, it goes down smooth, no bitter aftertaste, it's a definite medium roast, and there's a hint of pleasant bitterness. Just enough bitterness to let you know you are drinking coffee and not water. If you like the boldness of a Starbucks, this will not appeal, but for me, this is flavorful enough to consider for an everyday companion. I'm still deciding among a few contenders which one to go with, but I can't wait until tomorrow to have another cup.

Green mountain should provide the beans for this--I presume it is medium roast so that it would not provoke excessive cleaning of my Mill. Here is the thing--the taste of any coffee can remain the same if the blender knows and green mountain does know what they are doing--the aroma can and often does change--this has been constantly a superior coffee--if green mountain would see the beans and it were presented as one tablespoon per six ounce of water coffee,(using with MY K CUP 1.4 or 1.5 table spoons per 7.2 ounces (default on KEURIG)as opposed to the TWO table spoon per six ounce coffees ( the leser quality coffees)I would buy it in two pound bags, including shipping for $17.99 and use it with "MY K CUP" and drink more of it than the law should allow--GREENMOUNTAIN--wake up and smell the coffee!"

This coffee just isn't strong enough for me. Of course if I drink it black there is more flavor but I always prefer cream in my coffee. I've had it later in the evening and it has not kept me up so I keep it on hand and drink it only if I want coffee at that time.

I love my coffee and drink 4/5 cups a day. Kids bought me a Keurigg for my 69th B.D. It took me time to find what I like and that is Green Mountain - Medium. So now, I'm ready to order in bulk to save money and find it is cheaper in the store by 1.00. Elaine

This coffee was the first one I tried that was brewed in a Keurig coffeemaker. Years ago, a department store where I shop frequently had a Keurig set up to give sample cups of coffee. We chose Nantucket Blend to try and walked out of the store with the Keurig and a supply of Nantucket Blend. This makes an excellent cup of coffee and I have enjoyed it for years.

I bought 2 boxes. I went through 2 k-cups this morning and both times I had coffee grinds everywhere! Made a horrible mess both times! I used my other brand and finally got a cup of coffee this morning. Only one box has been opened so I will be returning the other. It appears your “foil” top is too flimsy and makes a much larger hole in the top than normal pods. First and last time buying these.

I got this in the variety box and now will never go without it. The is a perfect middle of the road coffee. No crazy flavors, medium roast, not too bitter, not too light...kind of reminds me of that really great cup of restaurant coffee you run into once in a while. Regardless of whatever flavored tangents I fly off on...I will ALWAYS have a box of this in the cupboard! In fact, if you are a Flavored Creamer addict - this coffee will provide the perfect base to start from. If you are a dark roast/french roast person - this is not the coffee for you.

I read some of the other one star reviews saying this coffee is weak and watery— but that it didn't used to be, so I don't know if I'm just one of the lucky ones who got a bad batch, or if they changed the recipe, or if it was just always bad, but this coffee is so weak. I ice all my coffee so I use a very minimal amount of water to brew with, so that the ice doesn't dilute it too much. Even using only 4 oz of water this is just so watery and weak and overall terrible. It also has mild fruity notes which I learned I'm not a fan of.

I must admit to being somewhat skeptical about the whole Keurig system until now. I am on my third cup of Nantucket Blend and am now a Keurig convert! This is an excellent coffee for the morning. No aftertaste, not bitter, and very smooth. It is so impressive that I just ordered two boxes. Very good "all-around" coffee.
