I chose the firm and love it. The was initially worried that I should have got the soft but after a few nights I was sure I made the right choice. It definitely helped my back and neck pain. This mattress is not cheap but I'm happy with it and hope it lasts a long time!

We absolutely love our new King bed with the luxurious Ergo 2.0 base. With our aging bodies, with the added stresses of life and working out, we could not compromise comfort and quality sleep. We highly recommend this mattress. We also loved the Cooling version, however I have a medical condition called Ehlers Danlos (EDS) which causes chronic pain and feel elevated pain when my body temperature is too cold. This mattress is a dream to support and ease the pain, along with the massage from the base.

Received a king size luxeAdapt for my master bedroom after owning an older tempurpedic model for the last 10 years. We've always loved our old mattress, but were itching to find out how much the technology has improved. The LuxeAdapt is miles beyond what we expected. Firm, without feeling like I'm sleeping on a slab, soft enough to hold our natrual curves but not so soft that you feel like you can't get out of bed without six-pack abs. We've now had it for a couple of months and I have to peel myself out of bed every morning. Conversely, if I'm feeling well-rested, I have the energy to spring right out without having to tenderly stretch out all my body parts and pray something didn't get strained in the middle of the night. Low maintenance, high comfort, and near instant sleep once my head hits the pillow. Couldn't be happier.

Night one: I love this bed. I was having severe pain down my right shoulder/arm sleeping in my old one. One night, and it's a significant relief. Life changer right here. Slept like a dream. I'm usually someone who tosses and turns and wow, just cuddled in and stayed put. Literally never want to leave. Counting down until I can go back to bed. I also have the adjustable base, and the angling option is fab. Worth noting the base arrives boxed, and the extra packaging does add to the dimensions. We had to take out of the packaging prior to bringing into my 2nd floor apartment- but was an easy install once the packaging was removed. Queen fit easily.

The first one is 9 years old and it still feels like brand new!!! 9 years ago, I decided to try Tempur-Pedic because I injured my back several times over my very active life and I would wake up every morning in great pain; additionally, spring mattresses I had bought always ended up with hills and valleys. After 1 week of sleeping on my 1st Tempur-Pedic, I was waking up with NO back pain and that has remained the case over the years. My new Tempur-Pedic is amazing, even better than the 1st, which means Tempur-Pedic must be always working to improve their product. I bought the ergo extended base, which allows me many sleeping and relaxing options and I am always comfortable in my downtime. In the last year starting with the entry level Temper Adapt all the way to the luxe adapt firm. I have tried 6 or 7 different models of the current Tempurpedic line. And by far the absolute best mattress for a heavy back and side sleeper is the Luxe Adapt Firm. I was really concerned being a side sleeper that it wouldn't conform and relieve pressure. Yet its still firm and supportive enough for back support. I can even sleep on my stomach if I want. It's really a one-of-a-kind unique feeling you get on the mattress and it feels really firm but yet you suddenly start melting into it it's really a strange but satisfying feeling. Tempur-Pedic foam is incredible stuff. The saying you here about there's nothing like Tempur-Pedic material is 100% true. It's magical stuff and how it works. And there is not another mattress company in the world who makes the material like they do it's one of a kind. So if your larger heavier person and you're looking for something you can sleep on your side with and your back and get the firmness and support when you're on your back and still get the soft Comfort to forming pressure relief on your side this is your mattress it's incredible

My husband and i were in the market for a new mattress that would meet both of our requirements. it's hard finding a mattress that will be comfortable for the both of us. But the we found the luxe adapt (soft)! This is a wonderful bed. I suffer from hip pain and it's completely gone. The mattress conforms to your body and releases pressure. It's just fantastic. I can't reccomend it enough!

When the mattress was delivered, I thought it was a bit too firm. I searched reviews and most people felt the same way once it was delivered. After the first night, I realized it is absolutely perfect. I am out of town now and staying in an upscale luxury brand hotel but can't wait to get home to my own bed!!
