[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My body feels refreshed, no pain or aches, and very ready for the day. I am 6'4" and I've found it's hard to find a comfortable mattress at a bigger size. BUT this mattress is the answer and I've never felt more comfortable on a mattress (so bigger guys, I highly recommend)

Too old school to go all out memory foam. Choose the hybrid. Still getting used to it, I was way over due for a new mattress. Feel like I sleep on the warm side, but I am happy with my choice. A bit on the firm side but I think that is best for me. My dogs are very happy with my choice too

The mattress has a odor for up to one month after delivery. I allowed the smell to dissipate for one week prior to sleeping on it. I opened windows and left ceiling fan running with no sheets to help it along. The mattress itself is sturdy and the top cover is really nice and fits tight. I purchased the sheets and they do fit very well on the bed. I am a back sleeper and I find myself waking up in the middle of the night with discomfort. I suspect that a medium is too soft to support the lumbar correctly. I purchased the Hybrid hoping the coils would be more supportive. I am hoping with time, my back will feel better.

We ordered the medium hybrid Adapt mattresses based on trying them at a store. After a month we realized for sure that we were used to and wanted a more firm mattress. The exchange process has been a challenge. Through the whole order process and exchange process we were twice charged the wrong amount. The first time has been corrected but not yet the second time. The mattresses themselves are comfortable just not firm enough for us. We had been sleeping on an original Tempur-Pedic mattress that is 14 years old and still good. The folks have been courteous and friendly. Just the process and the charging system needs work so the correct amount goes through the first time.

Just purchased our first Tempur-Pedic bed. Upon entering, every sales associate greeted us. Vince took us to four different mattresses, explaining all with expertise. I did not feel pressured, rather I felt like a guest whose needs were trying to be met with professionalism and accuracy. From there Vince showed us several pillow styles until we found the one that best matched our mattress selection. Finally, Vince turned into Al Buddy as he patiently helped me find a pair of slippers that were both cute and comfortable. Finally, the manager Paul helped with finalizing the transaction, both ensuring that everything was correct and that we were highly satisfied before leaving. I'm very excited to try our new bed but based on the store experience I feel confident we will sleep very well! As for customer service, Vince knocked it out of the park! The Adapt foam mattress molds to body contours, cradling and providing unparalleled support. The medium-firm foam has proven to be comfortable for back, side and stomach sleeping. Best of all, falling asleep and waking up with asleep limbs has ceased. The only complaint has been Tempur-pedic's mattress Warranty which requires the use of a mattress foundation. We purchased the ultra low profile foundation for our platform bed frame. Unfortunately, the depth of the mattress foundation plus mattress appears dimensionally out of proportion for the platform bed frame.

Our mattress started out great but after a couple of years my wife started complaining about back pain. We are discovering that she is sinking towards me now while sleeping. The mattress loses its support over time and Tempur Pedic knows it! They have explicit statements in their 10 year warranty (which we were unaware of) that don't cover changes in firmness/support and they will only honor the warranty if your mattress is sagging more than 3/4"!!! That is ridiculous and just shows that they know their mattress won't last! Ours is sagging ~1/2" at the moment but the firmness / support is what matters more and they don't care about that! So just passing on our experience so that you also don't assume that Tempur Pedic is a reputable brand and decide to spend over $2K on a mattress that you will have to discard in a couple of years. Most of the positive comments here are only within the first year but if you look through the bad ratings you'll find some people that cared enough to come back and try to warn you. Read the warranty before you buy and see for yourself!

My experience has been bad. I bought the mattress from a local mattress company. When I started to have back problems I called the number for Tempurpedic that said "Need Help? Talk to a sleep Expert." They refused to help me other than to tell me to call the mattress store since i did not buy the mattress direct from Tempurpedic. When one spends a lot of money to buy an expensive mattress, one would want to try it out first and you can't do that by ordering it directly from the manufcturer, I would think. I think I got the run around from Tempurpedic. I spent a lot of money for an expensive mattress and they only were willing to talk about if there was a factory defect. A back problem was a "comfort" issue and I was told to call the mattress store. The most useful comments suggested below says to contain specific information: How this product has changed my life: I have a back problem now. I don't know if it was coincidental with the purchase of the Tempurpedic mattress. But despite giving a phone number to call for help, I felt that they blew me off. Things you love about it: Nothing Things you don't love about it: I spent a lot of money to get a superior mattress, and I don't know if it is contributing to my back problem or not, but Tempurpedic in my opinion is giving me no useful help.

Have only had for about 3 weeks...still adjusting..the salesperson told me to give it 30 days. I have noticed moderate difference and definitely feel it will keep getting better. It does give me the firmness I need and after having a horrible mattress for years...my body is trying to accustom to a great sleep.

Mattress is too stiff and doesn't conform to the bends in the adjustable base. Hopefully with time it will loosen up some more but hasn't so far. Comfort level is OK, but I could stand it to be a bit softer. Won't recommend but it could be fine for others.
