It has just the right ampunt of firmness for people 170 lbs to 200 lbs. You sink in but not too overwhelming only to have a floating feeling with somewhat support. It is good for all positions , back , side , stomach sleepers. That's why it was exactly right amount of firmness, you don't sink in so much but it doesn't feel as hard surface. The Best for back sleepers. No more back pain and strained feeling. Feels cool but not too cool. I don't like very cool feeling so no problem for me, some may find it warmer side than Breeze models. Movement isolation is great. Regaining shape after pressure is faster and feels quality memory foam like. Side supports are good but not exceptional but good thing it gets back to shape very quickly and supportive even it sinks from the sides so no worries about falling out from sides.

The Nectar is also rated as a medium firmness according to various mattress review/advertising sites but it conform to your body much like a slab of concrete does. I've been dealing with lower back pain for several years now and with the Nectar I could only lay on my back and would wake up with more stiffness and soreness than I had before going to sleep. The Tempur-Adapt has been amazing for my back regardless if I sleep on my back, stomach or side. When I go to sleep with a sore back from overuse I wake up with zero pain. Waking up pain free more than makes up for the cost of the mattress.

The mattress is very comfortable but the top layer is extremely slippery! We had deep pocket bed sheets and since this model is only 11" the top sheet slides around A LOT, which is very annoying. Wish we would have known that beforehand and we may have opted for the thicker 12" option. We are considering returning but don't want to go through the hassle. :-/

Every site promises their mattress will deliver you the best night's sleep. They will tell you their technology makes the difference. And maybe they have a cool video of throwing the bowling ball on the bed with a wine glass that doesn't even spill. Whaaat?!?! I know, crazy right? Depending when you buy, you might even get a good deal. To make matters harder, COVID-19 had shut down all of the mattress centers in town, so we couldn't even test different models. So how did we choose literally the best mattress we have ever slept on? 1. We looked up the top mattress company revenues for 2019. 2. We looked at these companies for the type of mattress we were looking for 3. We looked at reviews of the type of mattress we wanted across multiple review sites At the end of the day, Tempurpedic had exactly what we wanted, and I knew because of the quality and quantity responses they had versus any other mattress company we thought we were interested in. After using the mattress for a couple months now, we are excited to let you know that it is just as good as the day it arrived! You feel supported no matter if you sleep on your side, or back, etc.. You wake up feeling refreshed. If you can find it in your budget we also highly recommend to couple the mattress with one of their adjustable bases. zero G sleep is a great way to relieve the pain and stress of a long day!!! The reviews on this site are spot on, i trusted them, and i can honestly tell you that you can as well. Go get a great night's sleep. You deserve it!!!

I had purchased the Tempur-Cloud model back in 2013, and most recently the Tempur-Adapt Medium firmness mattress (queen size). Since my initial purchase in 2013 I can no longer look at other beds as purchasing options. What I love about this mattress is that I am guaranteed a great night sleep. It has the perfect firmness. After a long day of work, I look forward towards relaxing on my Tempur-Adapt to read or watch a bit of TV before hitting the hay. What I hate about it, is that I've become spoiled. When I travel to see my parents or siblings for a weekend, the quality of sleep and comfort does not compare to my mattress. When asked to recommend mattresses to friends and family, I always recommend Tempurpedic. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Earlier this year I decided to downsize and purchase a Queen size mattress. There are so many memory foam mattresses out there these days, and believe me, I read up on all of them. In the end, I decided to purchase the Tempur-Adapt mattress. I can tell you that I made the right choice. I love it better than my old Tempurpedic mattress and I sleep even better now than I did before! I now fall asleep within the first ten minutes and sleep soundly throughout the night. This mattress isn't cold and hard when I first lay down, nor does it heat me up too much as some memory foam mattresses do. It's perfect for me! Just to let you know, my mattress arrived a couple of weeks before upgrades were done in my home. I ended up having to wait a couple of months before I could sleep on it for the first time, and it was well worth the wait! In case you are wondering what happened to my old Tempurpedic mattress, my daughter wouldn't let me get rid of it so now she is sleeping on it. You can't go wrong with a Tempurpedic!

we researched, shopped, went to stores laying on all kinds of mattresses, and landed on the Tempur-Adapt. for us, it was a very good choice. it is somewhat cooling, but not totally which is good for my husband. we both feel like we sleep so much better and deeper. I sleep on my side, and back, and either way is supportive and comfortable. I will be anxious to see how this hold up for us. the weird thing is, and I have not seen this mentioned anywhere, is that the California King sheets fit better than our king size sheets did. we just happen to try a CK that my mother had, and it fit great. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in making this purchase.

The only thing I am slightly concerned about is that it is definitely more compressed where I sleep. I'm not sure if this is because it's only a few months old and needs to settle or what? Not too worried though given that the warranty will cover a replacement if it becomes too much of a problem.
