Mainly I was looking for a non-chemical-smelling mattress, and I first tried a latex version by a different company, which was a wonderful mattress except that my shoulder ached every morning cuz I guess it was too firm. So I returned that one, and tried Tempur-Pedic's Adapt and I've been very happy with it so far. No chemical smells and my shoulder is fine. Yes I recommend this - I'm a 59-yr-old woman, 5'6", 145 pounds.

After over 2 months of laying on over 50 mattresses, shopping for the right one, the moment I layed on a Tempurpedic I knew instantly that I must have this matresses. By far, the foam used is better than ANY matresses out there. If you lay on other matresses you will immediately feel the difference. My back problems have disappeared. I am a side sleeper and love this mattress. I also bought the Tempurpedic adjustable base and this tops it off to the best restful sleep I have had in years . You spend 40 hrs a week sleeping, it makes a difference in your quality of life and how you feel the entire day! Thank you Tempurpedic!

This product, for me is the ideal firmness. I've found myself over the years trying to buy the most firm pillows I could find, so when I bought my mattress, I also looked for as firm as I could find. But, some were too firm. My medium adapt tempurpedic is the ideal firmness for me. Firm, but you can still feel the cushion when you lie down. Would totally recommend to anybody, also bought a new tempurpedic adapt pillow with cooling technology (hi) for my fiancé and i, and we love the pillows too! Worth every penny.

We are less than 30 days in and I am waking up with lower back, hip and leg pain worse than my old mattress. I know its the mattress because right before we got this mattress we were on vacation and I had zero pain and slept great on Hilton's mattress. Unless it gets much better, we will probably return it and try to find one that works. It's way too expensive to keep if it's not a game changer in a positive manner.

It took me time to get used to the mattress because it is memory foam, after a couple of weeks it feels great

Mattress was wonderful and loved the product but now after three years it has started cracking vertically and horizontally. Filed the proper claims process and was immediately declined stating the discoloration on the under cloth (which cannot be washed) was the cause due to a spill. This stain was actually caused by sweat due to the heat that retains in the memory foam and now the claims department stated there is nothing they can do or help with. Needless to say I will not purchase another tempurpedic mattress again due to this customer service and warranty response to not guarantee their product like they claimed. 10 year warranty was not upheld and quality and customer assurance is not their top priority.

WOW! I've heard conflicting reviews about the Tempur-Pedic, but my lower back pain had me considering many options. I then recalled a chiropractor years ago who mentioned that Tempur-Pedic was the best mattress for spine alignment. That being said, I went with the Adapt Hybrid, and ... WOW ... I've been experiencing the best, pain-free sleep ever. I can't believe that I waited so long to purchase a Tempur-Pedic. Don't be fooled by all of the mattresses in a box. You can't beat the Tempur-Pedic Adapt for comfort at a reasonable price.

We just moved into a new home and purchased the third for our 11 year old son. We all sleep better. Highly recommend!

Unlike other mattresses we have owned, it has not developed any "body impressions.". Since using it, my back problems have improved to the point that I experience less pain than before.

1. We were super hesitant to spend this much money on a bed. 2. Wasn't 100% sold that it would be worth the money 3. Split King made me wonder if the gaps between my bed and my fiancé's bed would bother me 4. Was concerned the hybrid would be too firm 5. Did i mention the price? 6. couldn't tell if i was sold on the hype or if this really was a good bed. Turns out... 1. you get over it once you realize how much time you spend in a bed and how much a poor nights sleep ruins your day 2. Trust me it's worth it 3. It does sometimes but im in too deep of a slumber to care lol 4. Not at all, for me a soft was too extreme and i went back and forth on this for weeks. the bed gets softer overtime so a hybrid turned out to be perfect 5. If you can finance do it, we pay more than the minimum each month so it's not bad and it's interest free 6. this really is a good bed. I had mild back pain, acid reflux, and another health thing going on and this bed has helped FAR MORE than what i thought was possible for something as simple as a mattress. I felt the benefits immediately (mind you our old bed came from bedrock) but even still it took me no time to fall asleep. my fiancé had the medium (definitely on the firmer side so i do not venture over there lol) and he loves it. Now my cons: 1. Fitted sheets do not stay on this bed and it's the most annoying thing in the world. Buy sheet hooks, you'll thank me later. 2. If i was being super picky, i wish the base was more quiet. hearing my fiancé move his side at night when i'm trying to sleep is annoying 3. the mattress has a tendency to slide on the base. not a whole lot but i am giving it the occasional bump in the morning. Notice how these are mediocre cons? Buy the bed!lol
