I bought two of these for my kids. I've had one for about three years and love it. We really use it just like our big oven and a lot more often than the big oven.

Loving this oven in my camper. Gutted this camper and have regular kitchen cabinets but didn't want full sized oven. This is great and you can cook with your normal cookware, to include glass.

I researched for a while but when I saw this one I knew it was a perfect fit for what I wanted and I was right! Easy to use and great for toast or for a roast

I purchased this last year and was very happy with how large it was considering most sister ovens are quite small. Find just purchased another one. Only issue I have is with one of them the timer no longer works so when it goes off it stays on.

This countertop oven is shown cooking a turkey on the box, and that was the first hint to how large it was. The capacity was impressive, and if we were looking to replace our main oven, this would have done the job admirably. It seems to be energy efficient and it heats up quickly. It cooks food evenly and a bit faster than our main oven. There are two things that I wish this oven had. First, the only aspect in which this did not do well was toasting. It's very size places the top shelf quite far below the upper heating elements. This could be solved with a simple fix: another slot for the shelf that was much closer to the element. It seemed odd that this oven, with all its features, didn't have that. Secondly, the back of the oven bows out dramatically, preventing it from being pushed flush against the wall behind a counter. This is necessary to accommodate large pizzas but quite inconvenient for its placement in the kitchen. It might be possible to have two backs that one could swap out if you need to cook something large but would make placing the oven more convenient. This issue is mostly because our kitchen is rather small, so others may not have this issue. We received this oven as a sample for evaluation, and will continue to use it because it works well, but we wish it toasted well enough so we could get rid of our toaster.

Great oven for the first 12 months or so. Now we are experiencing a pretty major issue with the timer function that has created a safety hazard. The primary way this oven operates is that the oven only comes on by setting the analog timer for a designated period of time, after which the oven auto-turns itself off when the time has elapsed. However, if you turn the timer knob counterclockwise past the ZERO setting on the timer, there is an ALWAYS ON option that will allow the over to stay on. The timer has started clicking its way down to ZERO but instead of turning itself off, it continues to click its way past zero until it reaches the always ON section, thus turning the over back on and staying on always. Fortunately we discovered this and unplugged it before it set the house on fire. I am in the process of contacting Oster to see if they can fix this defect and take steps to ovoid it causing a fire.

I bought my toaster oven all most 2 years ago, it worked great until a year ago it started cooking unevenly. I would put a pizza in the oven half would come out a lot darker than the other half. That was annoying but i could live with it. Last weekend i was baking cookies in it, i was on my 4th tray when the timer went off, at the same time as the other trays, 9 minutes, and my husband tells me the cookies had burnt. I turned around to take them out and saw that the cookies had actually stopped cooking a couple minutes before they came out (they were still pretty round) and they were black. My first thought, maybe the temperature accidentally got turned up. After checking i realized the oven was still at 375. A couple days later we tried the oven again and did a "test" cookie (since i still had cookie dough that i couldn't finish baking), still no luck.

This is a large Pizza oven and it is not suited for cake baking! After warming it for 10 minutes to 350F.(using a Thermometer, the oven doesn't indicate when prompted Temp. was reached) I put a 9" cake baking pan with the batter in it. The temperature "Dropped" to 200 degrees F. and never reached back to 350F. !!! We tried it convection mode and baking mode, the temperature indicator (dial) is off by 25 degrees, so, count on an auxiliary thermometer. The end result was: burned top while the bottom remained "RAW"!!! I'm guessing it will suite for Pizza baking where the crust is not thick. The Manual that comes with it is Vague and when I sent a question (on line) to the Manufacturer regarding Cake baking, their answer was even more VAGUE, in not too many words: EXPERIMENT AT YOUR OWN RISK !!! I am not slandering the product, I'm just stating that it's not suited for cakes baking! The oven was returned.

This was my 1st Oster small appliance purchase. It will not be my last. I have used large countertop convection toaster ovens for decades. I like the economy of heating a smaller space (suitable for all except the largest projects) and using 110 power vs 220 in my daily cooking to bake, broil or toast items smaller than 20 lb turkeys. Many models will fit a standard Lodge 10" cast iron skillet, but the Oster TSSTTVSSLL accommodates the Lodge 12" CI skillet (including handles) on its sturdy racks. My only suggestions for improvements: 1. Add another set of slots for the oven rack, higher in the cooking area, to put the food closer to the broiler to quickly toast a sandwich; 2. Add the turbo fan option to the broil setting; and 3. Add an interior light. THANKS!

Our regular stove/oven died out on us and we purchased this a year ago. It has been able to do almost anything that our old oven/stove could do and a highly recommend it! Until we can get a new oven/stove, this will work just fine and be used as a toaster there-after.
