I purchased this Oster TSSTTVXXLL toaster oven about a month and a half ago. I wanted to put it through its paces so I could give it a proper review. After using it, I have to say that it has performed extremely well, MUCH better then the price tag would suggest. Reading the reviews leads me to believe that it's a crapshoot, and you have a 70% chance of getting a good one or a 30% chance of getting a not so good one. As for mine, I use it 5 to 6 times a week, and it has always performed perfectly. I would suggest getting an oven thermometer just to tune in the temp, being that it might run a little hot. I set mine at 350° and it winds up being 400°, but if you know this, you can adjust for it. This will cook two 16" pizzas, and will do so perfectly. Just remember when you are cooking 2 pizzas, to rotate ( top to bottom/bottom to top) the pizzas half way through. But to be fair, you usually have to do that in a regular oven too. Remember to pre-heat the oven for about 6 to 7 minutes so you get a proper temp. I would suggest running the toaster oven in your garage for about an hour or two just to get rid of that "new appliance smell". One more thing when you use the timer function and it dings signaling it's done, turn the timer knob to the (stay on) position, then turn off and it will stay off till you turn it on again. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this oven and would recommend it to anyone.

If you just want to make toast this is great, but if you want to bake a pizza or anything else ur gonna have to double or triple the time it takes to bake in a normal oven. We bought it thinking we could stop using the big oven for smaller things and didn't work out. Would not recommend this.

Love the toaster oven but after 1 1/2 yrs, the door started to squeak a lot. It is apparently due to the pully mechanism the door level rides on, it split into 2 pieces, so now the door level is grinding on the shaft instead of riding on the pulley. Did I just get a defective pulley? Great otherwise, we love the toaster, just hate the noise each time we open/close the door.

I have burned quite a few things because I turned my back and wasnt watching when the timer had 10 minutes left. The outside also is extremely hot so beware of getting burned. I do like that the racks dont fall out onto my hand like my former oven.

I am writing to say that I was initially pleased with this purchase due the size of this toaster oven and the price, but then started noticing issues that make this a regrettable purchase. The temperature on this oven is a problem., I'm not able to regulate it well. I've baked cakes that come out over baked or burned on top, which was not a problem with my previous toaster oven. This past week the toaster oven stopped working altogether. Completely stopped! I've had it for less than a year! My previous one I had for more than 8 years before it died on me because I use it so much. Not sure what the problem is with this brand but I'm not happy with it. I now need to purchase another toaster oven, but I will be looking at the brand I had previously, and not this one.

A couple of years ago we purchased the Oster Countertop Oven, we liked it very much, I also have a handicapped daughter in a wheelchair, it is very easy for her to use. We even purchased an additional one for a family member. However about a month ago the oven began to over heat and burn all the food you would place in it. Even one of the knobs has somewhat melted.I am very concerned that it is unsafe and advised my handicapped daughter not to use it, I am afraid it could catch fire. I have tried to contact Oster for about the past two weeks, I am not able to speak to a real person all I get is a recording that their call volume is extremely high and they are unable to take my call and I should call back at a later time, I am not even able to leave a message. Very frustrating!

I bought this for my son in March 2018 and he advised me that it was not heating to the degree setting. He tested it with an oven thermometer. I have a smaller convection oven made by DeLonghi that I've had for years, so I thought sure this Oster would be a good buy. In searching for information on how to contact someone, I also learned that they are less expensive than when I purchased this one for my son at Sam's. I paid $125.34 at Sam's and now I see they are $89.98. I'm not a happy camper and want to know what can be done to repair it without costing me the price of another one. I responded "NO" to the question below if nothing can be done, otherwise, it WAS okay at first.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven is great addition to cooking in our camper. It cooks much better and more evenly than our rv oven. Large size great for brownies, pizza, biscuits and many other things. Very easy to operate.

Worked nice for about 3 months. The convection fan stopped working. I could live without the fan. About a year after that, the oven worked some time. Now nothing works. I have had other ovens similar to this one work for many years. I will not be buying another Oster oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this oven at Sams in Jan-2017, after only 6 months of use my oven will not shut off. The toaster part does not really work that well so if you want a toaster go buy one. Oh and another thing the door gets very hot so be careful.
