Yesterday, we ordered the Kobe Sushi tray for dinner. This platter is made to order. The sushi chef told me to walk around the store and come back in 15 minutes. Everything was delicious and very fresh. I rarely buy sushi in a supermarket. Most of the time, the supermarket sushi have no taste or taste terrible. Since Sam's sushi chef is onsite, the sushi is made onsite.

I pick this up at least monthly. It is really great for dinner or parties. I had no complaints. The sushi has always been fresh and you receive alot for the price compared to a restaurant.

Rolls didn't stay together. Came apart when you try to eat. Bought that day but they were not as fresh as they should be.

Rice fell a part and not flavorful. Rolls fell a part and the inside proteins are skimpy.

When we bought these rolls, we were very excited. Unfortunately, once we served them, no one in our family could eat them. We've tried rolls in many places and different countries, and this was by far the worst experience. The rolls were dry and completely lacking flavor. They didn't taste fresh at all, and the rice was hard, as if it wasn't fully cooked. Overall, it was a very disappointing and sad experience.

I bought 2 large sushi trays that came to $73. They were awful! Guests picked a little off each tray and at least half of each tray was left and went in garbage. Since these are made daily i guess it depends who is putting the tray together that day and how fresh the ingredients are. I SHOULD HAVE gone with my first instinct and not buy them because sushi looked older, but the date was still good

Not quite what I had expected for sushi. Twice I had recently purchased the large sushi trays and twice I was extremely disappointed. The rice was a bit hard and fell a part quickly and was difficult to pick up either by hand or crop sticks. Yes, there was a large amount of rice but, the taste and quality was lacking. There is some thing really missing in the rice? The skill level of making this sushi tray was extremely low with no concern nor care. Sauce was applied with no care at all! In the past the previous workers/owners were a lot better. I suggest more training at Fujisan for these workers. These sushi trays are not worth the money at this moment. Do consider going to another Fujisan outlet.
