My husband and I purchased a Tempurpedic Mattress and box springs 9+ years ago. Recently we started having problems with the mattress sagging. I called the company and they couldn't have been better! Their service was extraordinary! They far exceeded my expectations! Everything they said and did was perfect! I am so excited to have found truly great service in today's world! So my ultimate heaven of a mattress has had a long back story. I started with the cloud - and I liked it ok (definitely is soft) but it was not supportive enough (I have back pain). I returned it online and then bought the Adapt Medium Hybrid from their Tysons Virginia store. It was excruciating to deal with their online support people and when the delivery company finally came (after a lot of back and forth with Tempur customer service) the company told me they have no documentation about needing to pick up the old mattress (after my confirming with the Tempur multiple times) but they were willing to take it away - after giving them an extra $40 on the side! So - the adapt hybrid helped my back but my shoulder started hurting, I wasn't wild about the bounce, but I would have kept it if it wasn't causing pain- I had it for a couple of weeks tried a topper (helped my shoulder but then my back would hurt). Because I had done a return to online and purchase in store, and my family knew of the bed difficulties, I was offered the additional money as a birthday present and bought the Pro-adapt Medium (which felt perfect when I tried it in the store). I started reading these reviews only after ordering and was terrified it would be too hard given all the reviews. But - it came at last yesterday, at first it was ok but a little firm (and very cold) - I sped up the softening by adding an electric blanket for a few hours. And I have to say this bed is THE BOMB. I'm on a tight budget, and I really think Sealy could easily perform some obvious belt tightening (their processes are necessarily cumbersome, outmoded and there seem to be countless people employed who are rather unhelpful (honestly clueless and useless and I don't say this lightly). But after all the frustration, and the insane amount of money they charge (plus the 2xs paying their obnoxious $175) I can say the Pro-Adapt Medium is worth it - it is truly a doughy oasis - no pain at all - perfect softness and yumminess, but also supportive.

I wavered with my decision to buy this mattress and after opting for a less expensive alternative I knew I had made a terrible mistake. I returned the offending mattress and decided that my comfort is worth the extra cost of a tempurpedic mattress. I'm extremely happy that I went with the pro adapt medium hybrid. My back thanks me every day!

If you had to jump from a burning building onto this mattress you would die... it's hard as a rock, does not contour and hot! The mattress in the store is wildly different than this one. No side sleeper should ever try this. The fact my sales rep recommended it as ok is criminal. I haven't slept in weeks. It's 4am and I just moved to the couch. Don't buy this mattress it is not what is advertised in store!!!

Overall this is a comfortable mattress, but it doesn't support my back like other firm mattresses. I invested in it as an answer to my back pain and I am terribly disappointed. This is not a true firm mattress. The support/resistance varies on different points of the surface, and it is effected by the room temperature. It gets softer in warmer temperatures and vise versa. A normal firm mattress alleviated my back pain, the Pro-Adapt firm does not. Tempur-Pedic ought to disclose this fact on their website, or avoid from classifying this mattress as "firm".

I owned a Classic Tempurpedic for 15 years when they only made two styles. It served us well but finally dented to the point that replacement was required. I now sleep alone and weigh 100 pounds so the store's computerized mattress analysis determined I need the softest mattress. Since I live near the coast, it's cold most of the year. I wanted a mattress which retains warmth. I've had the Soft Adapt Queen for three weeks, and it is softening up and adapting to my body temperature and sleep pattern. It's light enough for me to lift the corners and attach fitted sheets. I intend to keep it and hope it becomes even better with use. This model is definitely an upgrade from my old one.

I cannot remember the last time I've slept this good. For most of us, with age come things like body aches and restless night. But not anymore! This mattress has been a life changer. I no longer wake up tired and achy, I wake up alert and ready to start the day! I was worried about the overall feels, a my husband prefers a more firm mattress and I like softer. However to my surprise it has been a great happy medium! Just soft enough to where I still feel like I'm on a cloud, yet firm enough where he doesn't feel like he's sinking in! They really do mean it when they say it conforms to every contour and curve. Don't hesitate, just buy it!

I've tried many mattresses over the years, and as a side sleeper, I was always left with shoulder and hip problems and pain. Add in a loudly snoring bulldog, and its a recipe for a sleepless night. That is, until I tried THIS bed. I knew that I would love it the moment I unwrapped the protective plastic and sat down on it. It was love at first seat. :D Not only do I sleep through the night (and sometimes my alarms), but I actually wake up feeling rested and not in pain. I like how the cover feels cool to the touch, and the mattress itself has enough firmness to keep me aligned, but the softness to sink in a bit to really get that cozy feeling. Even the dogs love it! :D The only thing that I wasn't a big fan of, and it's mostly dissipated, was the smell. Once unwrapped, it does have a bit of a chemical smell that needs to air out, but is definitely not a deal-breaker! *I received this mattress in exchange for my honest and open review.
