I was told by the sales associate that I wouldn't like it for the first week and at least until it was broken in like the one on display which was around 6 months old. I have to be extremely honest with you, from that very first night I slept on it, was the best night of sleeping. I have noticed an improvement in my posture and my back doesn't hurt when I get up in the morning. Quality is outstanding. I can't find anything wrong with it at all.

It's expensive and worth every penny. Buy nice or buy twice as they say. Every day I so look forward to curling up in this mattress. With a down comforter it's heaven on earth, sleeping in the clouds. Love it love it love it. And def go for the adj base the zero g is unreal! I've been a light sleeper all my life and this mattress has me deep sleeping all night.

This is definitely one of the best mattresses money can buy!!! My wife and I are 100% super-super satisfied with the purchase of our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm California Split King mattresses. One word to sum up how we feel each and everyday we wake up "Refreshed" Oh did I already mention the part how each and every morning my wife and I hate to get up from laying in our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm mattress? (lol). Yes, these mattresses are that darn comfortable! You won't want to get up from laying on it! Highly recommend going to a sleep center and checking it out for yourslef and with Tempurpedic's 90 day sleep trial how can you go wrong?! I promise-promise you won't be upset if you check this mattress out, but I know without a doubt that if you don't you will definitely be missiing out on the best (dab-nab-it) sleep you ever experienced in your entire life! I finally gave in after I hurt my back trying to flip out king size mattress. We shopped around and finally decided on a Tempur-ProAdapt mattress. What a difference our purchase made. No more tossing and turning throughout the night and even better no more back pain in the morning. I had always attributed all of my morning aches and pains as just part of getting older. I was totally wrong. Now when I wake up in the morning I can actually hop out of bed and be ready to go. I no longer have to slowly stand up to get my back to the point where I can actually walk. Another really wonderful result of the new mattress is that neither of us feels the other one getting into or out of the bed allowing the other to continue to sleep undisturbed. Hands down this mattress is the best purchase we have made in regards to our comfort and well being.

I've suffered back pain due to bad mattress and pillow. The firm Tempur pedic mattress is the only mattress that helped ease the pain and offered a good night sleep. My other half loves it just as must as I do. I love the fact that is contour to my every move without that sinking feeling from most foam mattress. It's pricey but we'll worth the money.

I have never been a believer in expensive mattresses, until now. I have owned a few mattresses that I would consider to be expensive and they always seemed to be the same as the regular old box store mattresses, We received our first tempur pedic mattress last month and within the first week, I was sleeping more soundly and feeling refreshed when I would wake up. The mattress has been great, the biggest problem that I have had with the mattress is now I just don't want to get out of bed!

With my old mattress I woke up with a back ache everyday. I purchased the Pro-Adept along with an adjustable base and I sleep usually around 5 hrs undisturbed and no more backache! I never slept more that 2 hrs at a time at the maximum before I was up walking around. I feel so rested now obviously I don't need as much sleep as others because before with such broken sleep I was always tired.

We replaced it with this mattress and now this one is also too soft. If you prefer medium-firm support, I wouldn't recommend this one. It started off firm, but is now hedging too soft in the sections that we use night after night. Interestingly, when one of us shifts to the middle of the mattress, it's perfectly firm. I didn't expect it to do this in such a short period of time and feel disappointed in the results.

My back never felt sore and I felt well rested. In fact, my sleep tracker indicated an increase of 1.5 hours of deep sleep each night once I changed to the Tempurpedic mattress. I was more rested, even though my total hours of sleep didn't change. The cooling gel also kept us from getting too hot at night.
