[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Go for this one if you like a really firm mattress good for your back! It's still soft enough to form to your body. I sleep very well on it now compared to any other mattress. Next one I get will be a super soft extra plush :)

This mattress is way too firm, actually it's hard. It is like sleeping on the floor. I really hope to fall in love with it but I'm having my doubts. I've read that there is an "adjustment" period, but I don't know if that means the bed will soften up or that I will get use to the hardness. The sample at the store was firm but very comfortable and I could feel it contouring to my body, but my bed did zero contouring. I am very disappointed but it has only been one night. Actually the idea of having to adjust to a bed is a bit ridiculous. i don't know if I can exchange the bed for Medium firmness but I may try. Remember too that the mattresses at the store have been repeatedly sat and layed on so over time they soften up. I don't have that sort of time, plus I weight 170 and I sleep alone so will my body weight alone soften the bed up enough for me to really find comfort and joy my expensive purchase. Overall the bed is beautiful and well made. Quality is top of the line.

For someone who woke up every morning with pack pain, this bed has made a world of difference. Great quality. And my husband and I love the split king. I have a firm mattress and he was able to get his medium. We also love, love, love the power base.

Our bed is the best mattress we have ever slept on. This is a huge statement coming from me because I used to work in sakes & I sold mattresses. We have tried several different brands & Tempurpedic is the best mattress by far. Om just sirry that we didnt buy one sooner. When we upgrade to a King size bed it will be a Tempurpedic. The massage feature is wonderful. It helos with circulation. Also the light underneath allows you to find your slippers & guide your path to and from your bed in the night. The comfort is Heaven.

After owning a Split Cal King Temper Pedic bed for less than 5 years, the offered warranty of 10 years will not be honored. The requirements of measuring with a yard stick showing 3/4" indentation are not obtainable. My husband and I wake up in pain daily from the indentations of the split mattresses, they did not hold their original shape for even 5 years. You must show a quarter standing upright of the amount of gap on the bed. As bad as the mattress is with 1/4" gap showing, they will not honor the warranty. False advertising of this being high end, very expensive, bed that will last well beyond 10 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Temperpedic has always made quality mattresses and the ProAdapt Medium Hybrid is no exception. The comfort level far surpasses any mattress that I've slept on or tried in recent years. It relieves the pressure points in my body overnight and I wake up feeling refreshed. You definitely fall asleep faster in my personal opinion. The only negative would be the price as they are quite expensive, but they will work with you to divide the payments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do a recent unexpected medical event I was forced to get a mattress that will meet my needs. We chose right. Best sleep ever. Perfect mattress, firm but comfortable. It gives the support you need, but with the softness all at the same time. The adjustable frame makes my life easier. I'm so glad I made this purchase.

Does not relieve pressure points or give you a good sleep experience. I started complaining to Living Spaces where we bought it after a couple of months and was told it takes awhile to adapt and give it 3 months, then 6 months then sorry you'll have to take it up with Temperpedic Warranty Department. They told me how sorry to hear of my bad experience and to take a bunch of pictures and send in but if mattress didn't have 3/4 inch depression they would not replace it. Wear is uneven not that severe of depression but uneven wear all over mattress which leads me to believe support is not good. When we bought mattress I was lead to believe body heat made foam conform to body and then spring back. This is after less than 2 years and me being 165 pounds and my husband 195 pounds! We went and bought a Temperpedic pillow topper hoping that might help and it just shows big depression on both sides where we sleep. We took it off to get pictures of mattress and found the foam on the topper is cracked in several spots. No wonder we're not getting good support. I wonder if the inside of mattress shows the same deterioration! I wake up after a couple of hours with hip hurting and my shoulder had become extremely painful. I went to Orthopedic doctor and X-ray shows tendinitis in rotator cuff likely causing pain. Not doing any sports, lifting or consistent motion to cause this. My back pain is worse also. I wouldn't call that a real great nights sleep!!! .

This mattress is very comfortable for back sleepers that don't move around. Laying on either side gives me sore hips and shoulders-which I never expected would happen with the coils inside-it feels like laying on a slab of solid foam that doesn't give enough to transfer away from pressure points. I have a split king and the two sides slide apart to easily always with a big gap between them. They're too lightweight and should have side guards to keep them in place like they do at the bottom

It helps me sleep so much more soundly and my back doesn't hurt when I wake. I love everything about this mattress - comfort, cooling affect, firmness, and support for my body.
