Greatest mattress ever. When we first got it we had some hesitations. Learned that you have to wait 5 to 6 seconds when you first lay down or roll over for the mattress to conform and support your entire body. We have not slept so well in years. No bed shake felt when either one gets up or down during the night. Love it !!!

This is our second temper-pedic mattress. The first mattress we purchased several years ago is now used in our guest bedroom. For some unknown reason, we (wife and I) convinced our self to replace the master bed mattress with a competitors product (air mattress). We had purchased extra bed sheets and even though we never open the package the dealer would not give a reimbursement after 90 days. This was 3-years ago. Big mistake! We had enough sleepless nights and decided to revisit a temper-pedic dealer. Don't we swayed so take my advise and stick with what you know and trust. So my ultimate heaven of a mattress has had a long back story. I started with the cloud - and I liked it ok (definitely is soft) but it was not supportive enough (I have back pain). I returned it online and then bought the Adapt Medium Hybrid from their Tysons Virginia store. It was excruciating to deal with their online support people and when the delivery company finally came (after a lot of back and forth with Tempur customer service) the company told me they have no documentation about needing to pick up the old mattress (after my confirming with the Tempur multiple times) but they were willing to take it away - after giving them an extra $40 on the side! So - the adapt hybrid helped my back but my shoulder started hurting, I wasn't wild about the bounce, but I would have kept it if it wasn't causing pain- I had it for a couple of weeks tried a topper (helped my shoulder but then my back would hurt). Because I had done a return to online and purchase in store, and my family knew of the bed difficulties, I was offered the additional money as a birthday present and bought the Pro-adapt Medium (which felt perfect when I tried it in the store). I started reading these reviews only after ordering and was terrified it would be too hard given all the reviews. But - it came at last yesterday, at first it was ok but a little firm (and very cold) - I sped up the softening by adding an electric blanket for a few hours. And I have to say this bed is THE BOMB. I'm on a tight budget, and I really think Sealy could easily perform some obvious belt tightening (their processes are necessarily cumbersome, outmoded and there seem to be countless people employed who are rather unhelpful (honestly clueless and useless and I don't say this lightly). But after all the frustration, and the insane amount of money they charge (plus the 2xs paying their obnoxious $175) I can say the Pro-Adapt Medium is worth it - it is truly a doughy oasis - no pain at all - perfect softness and yumminess, but also supportive.

So comfortable, just firm enough to support your body. This is the second Pro Adapt I have bought in a year. We have two homes and this makes the fourth Tempurpedic I have bought in nineteen years. My hip pain went away after purchasing my first Pro Adapt last year. Will never purchase another type mattress.

My experience is that I REALLY believe the commercials that I see in TV that recommend this mattress to people. At first, I was not able to adjust it to make me comfortable. I had my boyfriend and I sleeping on a slant and we were hanging on for dear life... But now, I got this!!! I have the bed PERFECT!!!! Nothing else need to be said..!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress has by far out done my expectations compared to my current spring mattress. The hybrid comfort has helped me sleep deeper and longer through the night. I tend to toss and turn due to hip pain, but this mattress conformed to my hips keeping them aligned and pain free. I would definitely be inclined to purchase this brand of product again once we are in need of replacing this mattress. I recommend this mattress for anyone in the market of purchasing one.

Purchased recently and now am concerned about it containing truly toxic materials...having hard time getting clarity. Does not seem to have any environmental certifications. I assumed being a top name it would be fine, but now the more I look into it the worse it sounds....

Doesn't seem as soft as in the store. But overall pretty comfortable, maybe I was expecting too much with all the hype for a tempurpedic mattress. I would buy again because of the comfort still. With the box spring the bed sits pretty high, almost have to jump in.

After my husband fell and fractured his pelvis our current mattress was too soft. Our sales person recommended the firm Pro-Adapt and it was amazing. SOLD! We also purchased the adjustable base for the mattress which we highly recommend. The first night with the mattress and base we slept 9 hours! The base has done wonders to keep my husband from snoring.

This is a firm mattress. My husband was ready to return next day. He is a big man so this was a computerized fit for him. I reminded him you have to give it an adjusting period. In the past he has had pain. I have not heard any complaints about his hip or back. I am able to sleep peacefully without him waking me through out the night. Max our salesman took time with us and answered our questions. He was knowledgeable about the products he sells.
