I bought a king-size version of this mattress four years ago and loved it. Because my guest room had a queen-size mattress in it and most of my guests were couples, I felt compelled to move the king mattress to the guest room. That resulted in me moving the queen mattress from my guest room into my bedroom. It was not a Tempur-Pedic mattress but, although it was like new , it didn't measure up to the comfort of the king mattress that I had sacrificed for the comfort of my overnight guests. Tempur-Pedic mattresses aren't inexpensive, so I waited a long time to treat myself to the much-nicer mattress for myself. My whole body feels better after sleeping on the new mattress and I just ordered pillows to complete the experience. The mattress is very heavy, which gives me a workout when I change the sheets, but I knew that before I bought the second bed and was willing to work a little harder in order to experience the greater comfort.

Glad that we replaced our memory foam mattress with the Temper Pedic. Once you get used to this style of sleep product, it is the most restful night if sleep you get. No sore joints or back and no you don't wake up when a partner gets out of bed or moves around. So glad we got this mattress!

I suffer from back pain, sleep apnea, and I am a side sleeper. This mattress has definitely made a difference in a getting a great nights sleep! I highly recommend. I love that I don't wake up hot in the middle of the night. My husband and I initially tried a different brand mattress and only had it for a month before returning it. Never had such extreme pain in shoulders and hip with tingling in hands , waking up early morning hours such as 12:00 1:00am etc. Not sleeping waiting for our 30 days so we can exchange or get rid of it. Now we are waiting for soft pro adapt praying it will relief pain also purchase adjustable frame. Furniture store where we purchase does not refund how wonderful, so we had to go with another temper pedic. needless to say the expense is out of this world. Living on social security now this will hit us hard . well suck it up butter cup and learn from this experience never again! I google this problem was surprise to find I'm not alone with this discomfort . Just weird. My husband has no problem. I've started sleeping on our old mattress in another room which is strange after 43 years of marriage, and to my surprise the pain has eased up and back to normaL after four days. so I thought I give the bed another try and slept on husband side of bed , well the pain woke me up again and tingling in hands. Keep fingers cross peps that soft pro adapt will solve this problem should be here in another week they say.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 2nd Tempurpedic set. We went from an adjustable king to an adjustable split king. Although I find it as comfortable as the first, there are some things that are annoying. First the mattresses slide apart even after we put anti-skid pads under them. Secondly, the split set makes changing sheets much more difficult since the mattresses are so heavy.

I tested several Tempur-Pedic mattresses in store and determine the ProAdapt Soft model best suited my needs. The mattress was delivered this week and unfortunately, it's much more firm than the model I tested at the store. In fact, it is more firm than my old mattress that I decided to replace due to firmness. I checked the tag to make sure I wasn't accidentally given a medium or firm model, but it says soft. I am giving it the recommended 30 days, but if it does not soften I will ask for a different model or return entirely. My in store experience with the mattress was very high but so far I am disappointed with the mattress I had delivered to my home.

I was hesitant buying this as a big investment and afraid it wasn't going to live up to the expectations. Background: I have substantial lower back and neck problems/chronic pain and I am a bad sleeper waking up several times a night. Do I still wake up a lot? Yes. But I do feel my sleep I do get is better, I toss and turn less and my body hurts less waking up in the morning. Not the total change I was hoping for but defenitely a huge improvements and happy with our purchase!

I was worried about not having enough support and about it sleeping hot. But I think having the spring coils in the hybrid not only give extra support but also helps keep the mattress cooler. I would say definitely try them out in store before ordering because your weight and sleep position will determine what level of firmness you'll need. Shipping was insanely fast, it was delivered and setup in under a week. All in all for me it was completely worth the price tag.
