It stays cool for about 15 minutes. I love the comfort, but the mattress tends to get to warm. We bought this bed because some of the medications I'm on for my cancer cause night sweats and I thought it would stay cool most of the night. My best night of sleep so far was about 5 hours. Most nights it's 3 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the adapt medium which was too soft for me and slept hot so I upgraded to pro adapt firm, it's A lot cooler and the sheets don't sink in and move around.. I noticed the beds do off-gas and need to air out for a few days. Final conclusion- the bed is outstanding it contours to your body the way it should and yes you can still sleep on your side. I look forward to getting off work every night now. Thanks Tempur-Pedic!

I normally do not do reviews but this weekend, we visited the Frontenac store in Ladue,MO. Corinne- our sales associate was awesome. From the time we arrived and explained we were trying to learn about their beds, their bases, she took it from there. Had great questions from both of us, wanted to understand our sleep regiment and from there began demo process on various mattresses and bases. Great experience. We have never owned a mattress like this before and can't wait to experience it. Corrinne made this a great experience and it was a true pleasure working with her. We left there Saturday, talked about it and returned Sunday. Had a few more questions, tested bed again and guess what- made the purchase.Thank you for everything you did for us as I would highly recomend her to anybody in the St.Louis area that is ready to make a change in their mattress but maybe their sleep style to receive the best night ever. Our mattress was approximately 15 years old. We always had a topper over the pillow top but as in previous comments, the back knows. Couldn't handle it anymore and since we had slept on a relative with no problem decided on a tempurpedic. We decided on the pro-adapt medium hybrid. Once the sales lady turned on the remotes we were hooked. Now every night we fall asleep vibrating and it is so sweet! Love the cooling pillows and ordered the 2 for 1 sheets not too happy with those. They wrinkle!

We purchased the ProAdapt Medium Hybrid and after a couple nights of adjusting to a new bed we have been sleeping better than we ever have!!! Our hips and back no longer hurt and we wake up in the morning refreshed! This bed is well worth every penny and our only regret is we were not able to get this bed sooner. Thank you!

I've been suffering from sciatica pain and got rid of my pillow top for this firm Tempur-Pedic, and it has made an amazing difference! For a firm mattress, it's surprisingly more comfortable that I anticipated. I recommend the elevating base as well. I'm very pleased with this mattress/base combo!

We have used this mattress for the past 3 weeks and haven't slept this well in a long time. Needed to transition to a firm mattress, and it has made a difference. The mattress itself sleeps cool. One of our biggest concerns was the idea of "sinking" into the mattress - that does not happen. We also splurged on the Tempurpedic Luxe Egyptian Cotton Sheets - again, amazing. This only added to our experience with this bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Just a bit different than our last mattress. My wife and I love the space and are currently sleeping happily due to the space but we both feel hot and kinda wish we looked into the newest mattresses with the tempur cool lining.

It's fine to sit on or just to relax on. When I go to bed to sleep I find myself miserable. Tossing and turning. If I sleep on my back my neck will hurt, if I sleep on my side my knees and elbows hurt. I got an adjustable base. If I try to sleep at different angles with that it just doesn't help. I've had it for a short time but still have not found a comfortable position to sleep on it yet. I have a lot of different pillows to try with it too and I just can't seem to make this mattress work for me. :( We bought a split king. My husband seems to enjoy it and definitely seems to toss way less then I do.
