We love our King ProAdapt Firm. We had a Classic Deluxe and needed to replace. We knew the new mattress would feel extremely firm at first but softens up after sleeping on it. Worth not having backaches. The ProAdapt is taller than our older model so being 5'3", I have to have a step stool to get onto the bed. Minor problem for the comfort. We also have Tempur-Pedic mattresses in our guest rooms.

I have waited a few months to provide my review to allow my body and mind to adjust to the huge change. I was previously using a very cheap pillowtop mattress. After 3 months, I can say this is the most comfortable mattress I probably could own, unless I get a few tax brackets higher and find a gold plated cloud some how. My one issue is how I am a hot body person and sleep hot compared to most, I need the AC to blast to keep me from sweating at night because the temperature of my body is held by the bed very well and it is a little hard to stay asleep sometimes for that reason. For hot sleepers, I would recommend another option. As far as the softness, I got the softest option. I was hoping for the most lux feeling with having back support simultaneously. This went pretty well for me so far, but again, the softness makes the bed conform to your body, so when you have the fluffiness around the edges of your body, you are getting insulation from the bed, and that free heat may help or hurt some! I don't like that aspect but I keep AC high anyways because I'm very warm blooded. I haven't had any back problems since getting the bed and adjusting (adjustment took a week or two, body was sore to the bone while getting used to the new mattress). I was having weekly back problems from a car wreck a few years ago. I think I hit the nail on the head for the most part, but thinking back, I would have gotten a slightly-more-firm option than SOFT.

What a joy to finally get a good night's sleep without tossing and turning. I awaken rested and ready for each challenging day. I periodically end up on my stomach instead of my back. When that happens, I tend to have some back pain, but considering how I was feeling, I feel as if I am sleeping on cloud 9. More than I wanted to spend but well worh the money, especially with a 60-month payment plan, it is very convenient and affordable.

This is our third time purchasing TEMPUR-PEDIC mattress'. They last about 10 years and are the best if you want a good nights sleep. We have the split mattress and both love that we can choose to lift our head, or feet and not bother each other while sleeping. Also the firmness is perfect!

My back has ached for months and just recently I've replaced it with the ProAdapt. The memory foam provides such relief to my back and joints. It is so soft and cool to the touch. It has made such a difference in my sleeping patterns. Each night I now look forward to climbing into bed. My next purchase will be the adjustable base to make the bed even MORE relaxing!

I absolutely love my tempurpedic mattress. I have a rotator cuff and hip injury that always woke me up due to soreness. With this mattress, I sleep all night, wake up more rested, and my hip & shoulder are less irritated. I was very skeptical of all these reviews, and now I'm leaving one of my own! This mattress is a good investment for your health, so I highly recommend it if you have old injuries and pain that keep you up at night.

Over the years (as I am 64) my back has degenerated to the point a regular mattress is NOT comfortable. A year ago I had spinal fusion and a spacer inserted in my lower back. Unfortunately, Scoliosis runs in my family and our daughter was born with it. The TempurPedic has been a great product for our family. I am so grateful this product is available to us through our Military Exchange. We are forever grateful TempurPedic supports the military. This whole thing started where my wife and I wanted to upgrade to a king-size mattress and developed back problems over the years. We have two younger kids, so ever minute asleep is needed. We tried two Purple mattresses, and found them to be really stiff after the first few inches of support. This is not good for side sleepers. For side sleepers (especially larger builds), you need to go with Soft to allow for the hips to sink in the mattress, but also be supported. Its the best mattress I've slept on. After struggling for months waking up sore everyday, this mattress worked. The only negative, is that the white-glove delivery did take longer than if it was shipped directly, but saved my back for lugging this up a flight of stairs. Solid trade off.
