I purchased 2 of these and then purchased another one for my son.

I can just imagine how assembly of this unit was designed. A bunch of engineers were bored, so they had a contest to see who could create the world's most ridiculous assembly schematic for a piece of cheap furniture. They're all laughing at us now. If there was a way to make assembly of this storage unit any more difficult, it is beyond my imagination to conjure it. Forget any notion of ditching that single little allen wrench. And while you're at it, abandon all hope of using it for more than a quarter of a turn before you must reposition it, while simultaneously craning to get even the slightest glimpse of the bolt into which you must reinsert it. I have put together a lot of cheap furniture in my life, so I had a fair amount of confidence going into this. And this unit is, for all the difficulty of getting it together, quite sturdy, functional, and attractive. But I still feel like the victim of a sophomoric prank.

If I could give it zero stars I would, but I have to click something. First, I have bought these type of storage units from Sam's no less than 10 times. At one point in time, I had 20 of them in my home in different places. The four by 2s were so easy to put together. They got easier over time and were so sturdy. SO, when I couldn't buy a 4 by 2 b/c they were out of stock, I settled for for two 2 by 2s. I needed to solve a storage issue. I looked other places, but was drawn back to Sam's because of my prior experience. I say...do not buy these ever! They changed the design and are so hard to put together. First, you have to finger tighten the bolts (my hands are so sore) so you can get the allen wrench in. Then you are turning a quarter turn each time and you have to pull it out to rest. After the second bolt last night, I was in tears and was determined to find a mini ratchet set today to be able to fit. I did find one at a cost of $20 that was able to finish the work. But, first you had to finger tighten as far as you could, then use the allan wrench to be able to get the mini ratchet with an allan attachment in--and then you still have to finger hold the bolt so the ratchet can do its work. My fingers are so sore!!! AND, my back from the extensive bending over. IF you do decide to buy these...assemble them on a work bench because you're going to be working a while. Last complaint, not all the bolts followed the righty tighty lefty loosy rule, telling me that the receiving nuts were not installed correctly. I have put a tons of furniture together and these are by far the worst ever! I wonder if this design was ever tested by anyone before production and if they say yes, I would say PROVE IT...how long did one assembly take with the TOOLS provided to the customer. In my opinion, anyone who has them should have their money returned for such a poor product!!! Member's Mark/SAM'S is better than this!!!

These storage cubes are fantastic. The base is strong and the cloth “baskets” keep it organized.

I bought this to store my grandson's toys and supplies. Good quality, very heavy.

The Cube organizer is well designed and built for the value. The Instructions are easy to follow.
