The heavy duty scrub sponge by Scotch Brite is an excellent choice for dried stuckon foods. It is gentle to the hands yet cleans well from pans, skillets and that ugly spill in the bottom of the oven. A fruit pie bubbled over and the sticky juicy had stuck and burned on the oven bottom and the grates, but my Scotch Brite heavy duty sponge made cleanup a breeze.

Having a family with the unfortunate habit of leaving cleaning up until later that night or the next day. After going through cloths trying to wash away caked on pieces, we went and got Scotch Brite's Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge, and it has been wonderful. It lasts through a week or two of hardy cooking and gets away all sorts of scum from the bottoms of iron pots and pans. I even ended up buying a few of these for a portion of a house warming gift for a few friends. With these you can enjoy cooking, and get through the cleaning.

I wouldn't be without Scotch-Brite sponges/scrubbers of all sorts--with cooking and cleaning and 3 cats and the resulting clean up's needed, there is always something which needs to be scrubbed. I must have almost a whole "store" of the different Scotch-Brite scrubbers--the Heavy-Duty Scrub Sponges are my favorites, but I love the rest, too.

Why has Scotch Brite messed with the design of the yellow and green sponges that we love? They're not as thick, but larger in diameter. I find them difficult to hold and squeeze dry. I'm sure the change was motivated by money, but it's left me looking for a new sponge after a lifetime of sharing my kitchen with your product.

The scrubber holds up well under heavy use, gets the job done with the least amount of scrubbing, and the brand is trustworthy. I use these scrub sponges on dishes, floors, ceilings, walls, counters, appliances, sinks, toilets, tubs, faucets, shoes, cars, toys, windows, and today on aluminum blinds. There are three in various stages of raggedness currently in use in the house. Indispensable in our home.

These pads are excellent for tough jobs. It helps to clean the grill with ease after a barbecue by using the heavy duty side. Cleaning my baking pan after lasagna is a cinch with these heavy duty pads and the soft spongy side. These multi-purpose pads go beyond the kitchen stove. I can venture in my bathroom as well to clean with no harm to my counters by using the sponge and tackle hard stains if needed with the heavy duty side. It is great, economical investment.

I recently purchased a house that was formerly rented out to 4 frat college guys and wow!! did i have some cleaning to do...this sponge got everything that was dried on the back of the sink counters, under the counters, everything that was a mess stuck on cabinets and counters dried and hardened for gosh knows how long. I've been buying 9 ct. or 24 ct. Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges for decades. They have always worked perfectly for dishes and the scour pad side for pans. At the end of each week, it gets tossed {even though it looks like it has a lot of life left} and a new one comes out. Up until recently, I would have given this product a 10+ without a thought. However, I am now on my 2nd pkg. and every sponge practically disintegrates by the 2nd use. 1st pkg. - I thought it was a fluke since they have always been A+ and bought another pkg.. That's when I realized what is really happening. It's truly a shame Scotch Bright decided to cheapen their product & risk their reputation. What once was a 5 star doesn't deserve a -1. Little sponge pcs. fall off & and need to be scooped out of sink every use. Some small pcs. have escaped down the drain even with a stopper in it. I don't plan on taking the chance of pipes eventually being clogged with yellow sponge. Sadly, I won't be buying anymore. I was not exaggerating saying I've been buying them for decades. Bought 1st time at age 21 when I got married and I just turned 64. That's a lot of loyalty years. Very disappointed they jumped on the "lets cheapen our product & charge more" band wagon.

I have been usine Scotch Brite for years and they worked well for a long time but, as time marches on I have seen a decrease in the qualit of the sponge. I purchased pack with about 8 to 10 Scotch Brite heavy duty sponges and after one use the scrubing pad is fraying and the spong is a soft. I use Ivory dishsoap and this is the first time I had this experiance with this sponge producr. I also use the Scotch Brite scrub pads and that has changed overtime. Too bad now I have to search for another product that use to work like yours.

I have always kept my pans hanging on the kitchen wall. This was becuse a shortage of cubbard space. My pans all glow even after years of useage. Family and friends have always been amazed and surprised how they shine. Love, love Scotch scrub sponges. If difficult tough burnt on grease occur on the surface, I just add a small amount of scouring powder on the spot and use my damp tough sponge. Bingo, it rids of the dirty spot fast and fined.
